Former President Trump Thread

I don't know, this is funny, but maybe it should go here since it's not meant as funny, even though it's definitely funny?

From CNN:

Federal prosecutors announced Wednesday that they have struck a non-prosecution agreement with National Enquirer parent company American Media Inc., effectively ruling out charges for the tabloid publisher over its role in securing hush money from President Trump's longtime personal lawyer Michael Cohen.
As part of the agreement, AMI admitted to making a payment of $150,000 in cooperation with members of Trump's presidential campaign in order to prevent former Playboy model Karen McDougal's claims of an affair with Trump from being made public during the 2016 race.

Where is Anonymous when you need them? You'd think at least one or two of them might have worked as coders on one of those microsecond-time trading programs. It should be a simple matter to rig one or two of them to utterly ruin Trump and his boot lickers. Right?

I was under the impression that 4chan is generally pro-Trump.

...mmm, I'd say it's more that Trump supporters feel more at liberty to go a full volume there than that there are (proportionately) more of them...though I admit I don't go everywhere on 4chan. There's just too much.

No hard numbers, but I don't think there's that much overlap between boards. Every user that I know in person uses 4chan for a handful of discussion boards (and, I'm sure, porny ones). One's experience as a /wg/+/po/+/fit/ (wallpapers, papercraft, and occasional fitness circlejerking are my browsing patterns) user is very different from an /a/+/b/+/pol/ (weaboo, trash, nazis) one.

I sort of thought the Anonymous MO was less actual justice and more just anarchy and "for the lulz" anyways, and you can't get any more chaotic LULZ worthy then having Trump in charge. These are also the guys that put into action a movement to "Avenge Assange", who we know himself supported Trump.

And now Trump's inaugural committee is under criminal investigation for embezzlement.

It's no wonder the people who know how to do their jobs up and quit. It's not only out of frustration, but the risk of getting roped into this shit. There's no level of this administration where you can't find a criminal enterprise.

In what seems like an eternity ago, Politico did some solid journalism and uncovered that a secret war or motions and appeals in court was going on in Washington but it was all sealed to the public. Today is the day it's supposed to be unsealed.

Also am I the only one who thinks of the RECKO scene from Boilermaker whenever cheeto screams WITCH HUNT. Like he did this morning. Perhaps he has some knowledge of the days events....

With Cohen testifying, will others start to turn against Trump in order to distance themselves? There are so many media groups questioning if Trump will go to jail. I assume the procedure will be Impeachment -> Jail. Will Pence just turn around and pardon him? If this is how it goes down, I hope the Supreme Court can overturn it. It really seems like the end is nigh.

If he doesn't go to jail from impeachment, he's going to jail after his term from state crimes. There really isn't any avoiding it, assuming he doesn't just up and die from the stress of it all... something that might actually happen.

This is pure fantasy. He'll never spend a day in jail.

See, that was the thing with Nixon and Ford. Ford pardoned Nixon, though it was highly likely that Nixon would have done jail time for all the crap he did in the Oval Office. Odds are better than two-to-one that Pence pardons Trump within 30 minutes of Trump being either impeached out of office or resigning.

See above for reason why.

More likely scenario in 2 years time "It was a lifetime Republican Robert Mueller who took down that corrupt former DEMOCRAT!"
