Just... Wow. Only saw his Haloid video from a while back, never saw the RWBY videos.

Oh god he was too damned young, the indie animation world will suffer with him gone. For Haloid, the awesome RvB fight scenes, and RWBY I hope you rest in peace Monty Oum.

It's a huge loss. He was crazy talented. This was really out of nowhere.

The RT community really is the best, though. They raised over $150k to cover his final expenses (which I imagine are significantly lower than that) and someone left a trail of rose petals in front of the RT offices this morning as a memorial to his passing.
