Maybe, but it might make the MLB take a closer look at them (and Carlos Beltran). It looks like there were benefits, even if it was the whole shebang. Would also explain how one of the worst teams in the entire MLB had such a sudden turn around.

No, that turnaround was due to good drafting and quality players. The cheating part just pushed it over the top.

True. I think it was in 2014 Sports Illustrated predicted the Astros would win the 2017 championship based on draft moves and the strength of the farm system. It was a pretty good call.
