Live Topic hiccup: minor gripe

So if I'm on page 2 of a 2 page live topic, and trying to read all the responses, is there a way to temporarily pause the disappearing thing so I can catch up? it was kind of annoying that I missed a few replies at the top of the thread because new ones were shoving it aside.

Quite alright, Minor gripe. Not enough for me to abandon the forum in a huff of dramatic posts.
