[Question] Is there a consolidated thread of artists/authors and their works anywhere? (Yes, here)

While I'm not sure who would police it, would it be possible to get a sticky thread of people and their books, music, etc.

I've got a new Kindle Fire and some spare pocket change and thought I'd like to sample some of the talent at Halforums. Nick's book sounds fun, and until a few weeks ago I didn't even know Tinwhistler had 2 books out that sound interesting.

Just an idea.

No time like the present...

Nick's book, The City of Smoke and Mirrors: An Armadillo Mystery.

The Artist Formerly Known As Quotemander Prime has a couple books out.

Beyond his novels, Tinwhistler also has a bunch of Celtic jig sheet books out.

Raemon777 apparently has a Kickstarter up.

I dunno if any artists have anything for sale, although I don't think any of'em would say no to any commission work (Gustoface, LittleSin, and Bumble immediately come to mind). I think Aaron Mocksing does commissions as well.

Oh, Krisken's wife is a potter. She currently has a mug for sale, and I believe is open to commissions. Here's her deviantArt page.

That's about all I remember at the moment.

Oh yeah, Null used make scalemail pieces, don't know if he's still doing that.

Thanks for the head start @drifter. A maxi-thread wouldn't be a terrible idea.

I'm currently working on a commission for @Chad Sexington and always open to discussing more.

https://www.facebook.com/KMillerPainting - Facebook fan page. I have a few paintings for sale currently.
http://artgusto.tumblr.com/ - My Tumblr, where I sketch occasionally and also post painting progress.
http://infinitemiller.deviantart.com/ - My deviantArt, where I post more finished sketches and whatnot.

I also have an art thread in this very subforum that basically collects everything.

Beyond sketches on the back of napkins, I don't have that kind of pocket change. :(
You could always read Supervillainous, a comic that delivers new material every Monday and Friday. Best of all, it's free. (It's in my sig for easy access!)

Hehe, It's been fun so far. I don't have the kind of scratch to hire one of you Illustrative/Painting types for a personal job.

Speaking of Supervillainous, do you get any sort of revenue stream from the web toon site that you're on now? If so, I'll make sure that my traffic is directed there and not just here in the future.

Nope. It's a hobby. I'm not looking to make money off it. I get my hosting for free, and I'm not spending money on fresh art supplies since the entire thing is created on the iPad.

Really, all I want is an audience for the comic, for people to enjoy it.

I assume this is a thread where we post links to where we're all commonly seen with our work. In which case...

http://aaronsartstuff.deviantart.com/ - main dA page, visited regularly.
http://mocksingbird.deviantart.com/ - general fanart
http://themocksiniondomain.tumblr.com/ - personal tumblr, just me shootin' the breeze
http://mocksinionartlibrary.tumblr.com/ - my art tumblr
http://kuwtwebcomicarchives.tumblr.com/ - my webcomic tumblr; mostly features art, humor, fanart, Q & A, etc.
http://keepingupwiththursday.webcomic.ws/ - my series, Keeping Up with Thursday
https://www.facebook.com/aaronmocksingftw - my Facebook art page

A lot of places I know, but gotta spread the love around I guess, lol... XD ...you can probably just ignore the first two.

I guess this is as good a place as any to ask. Do you go to Anthrocon?

lol, to me it does feel like a requirement. :p Trying to be a cartoonist on furaffinity is difficult alone with a large bulk of my watchers there just want to know my A/S/L and "Hi, what are you into?" Nothing against furries, but I think my FA experiences for the previous six years has pretty much turned me off from going to something furry-inspired or related.

I'll go if I have a friend to take, or someone who knows what goes on in there. I'd get claustrophobic walking around that kind of place on my own with complete strangers.

Now Comic-Con, I'll take that instead. A photo with William Shatner, an Ivy Valentine cosplayer, walk away with Bruce Campbell's sig on my shirt... I'll definitely attend on my own-- one day. Hitting up a Marvel/DC booth, see the panel of celebrities.

I went to my first Anthrocon because Amber of DMFA was there. Plus it's only an hour north, so I had that going for me, which was nice.

This year Lar DeSouza was there, but I had already taken this year's vacation, so work was in the way of my going. Again.

Since I don't have a subforum here anymore, I'll link my comic. I've just started back up again, after a year of oil downturn and black belt pursuit distractions:

So this isn't mine, but I wanted to promote it anyway because it's cool.

A friend of mine wrote and self-published a novel! It's about a witch's apprentice trying to save their sick sister. If you like cute fantasy, give it a read! You can buy it here.
