I remember that, but I don't seem to have it :/
I can't believe I didn't save it when I found it. All I found was this, after about 20 minutes of Google-fu-ing it. It's still incredible, but not what I'm thinking of.

To keep contributing to the thread, though, here's another in a similar vein.



A five frame sequence of an eruption on Jupiter's moon, Io. Taken from the New Horizons probe, sometime in 2007, I think.
 
Dunno if this is the place to put this ... but can anyone make a GIF of :15-:17 of ? I couldn't find one on the Google, and I can imagine many applications for it.

Because it filled me with awe, a time lapse from Voyager 1's approach to Jupiter.



I've seen a similar one of the rotation of the Earth from a probe flying away, but I couldn't find it. Perhaps someone else knows where to find it? Which is to say "Erth sauce plz?"
If I had been smarter at math (of which I am a moron) I totally would have gone into astronomy. Nothing captivates me more than space.

Also, just who the hell is that androgynous dude anyway?
