What an amazing artist and anazing man. We lost an industry giant.

Oh no, he was one of my favorites. His illustrations are the standard for superheroes, even now. Possibly one of THE most influential comic artists of all time. This hurts.

I saw this yesterday just before DS:MoM started. Like Nick said, we knew it was coming, but it’s still a sad thing that he’s gone. He set the standard for huge spreads with everyone and the freaking kitchen sing too. I’m really happy that Marvel and DC worked together to get the reprint of JLA/Avengers done with little fuss so that he could see it out there again for real.
