[Handheld] Gameboy Advance SP

Who here had a Gameboy Advance SP? I’m looking to buy one and I found a guy on EBay with tons of them that he’s refurbished and they all appear to be in great shape. Other than playing in complete darkness would I really need the backlit one? It’s quite a bit more expensive.

I had the flip one, and I do recall that they were way better than the original one. I think the original had some visibility issues.

The first Gameboy Advance SPs had a frontlight, and until now I wasn't aware that some later models had a backlit screen. My experience is that the GBA SP had a pretty washed-out looking screen, especially compared to playing the same games on the DS lite, but it's nothing game breaking.
