What town are you in? Federal regulations have lots of requirements, as do State regulations. It's something I do work on as a second job. What you are describing is you are pumping your own well water with only basic safety measures.
Where we're from in NJ (Yoshi is not far from my hometown) we all have well water.

Ahh, see, a little bit of information goes a long way. By all means, if the town says they don't recommend drinking the water, and they don't have a filtration system set up for the water supply, then by all means, don't drink it. Though, one wonders just what the hell your town thinks it's doing, supplying water that's not fit for consumption.
I wonder sometimes as well. I think it was safer to drink a few decades ago when it was a Cranberry bog but over the years the iron seeped into the water and messed it up.

Pretty much! We recently had a filtration system put in(that we had to PAY FOR, thanks town council), but the tap water still smells really funky and still causes rust. The town lured my parents in with free, little did they KNOW they would have to pay just as much if not more to filter it. Changing my conquest list, first thing I'm conquerating Collings Lakes and everyone in it will get a SATAN DAMNED WORKING FILTRATION SYSTEM!

Yoshi - The only way my parents and grandparents got their systems for free is that an underground gas tank leaked from one of the nearby gas stations and the chemicals fouled their wells. So the state gave them water filtration systems as well as paying for periodic testing.

This just makes me love Texas even more.

UGH! And I thought my water was nasty! Is it still contaminated?

Last I knew, there were still some unhealthy levels of gasoline-related chemicals in the water. I forget exactly what the names were since they were all tongue-twisters. Iron in the water was bad enough! My grandparents used to have some of the best tasting well water before this happened.

My aunt and uncle used to have well water. Worst tasting water I've ever had. So much metal in it, it was like licking the underside of an industrial machine. Blech.

I can imagine.

The water I had back in Waukesha had radium in it. Back in the turn of the previous century, there were people who actually considered this a benefit, and bottled the stuff up as a cure-all. :eww:

I keep getting ads served to me in Spanish all of a sudden. If the ad networks were spying on my browsing habits, you'd think they'd be able to realize I only browse english-language websites.

As I have been reading a book by a fellow Wisconsinite by the name of James Lovell, I think he has us ALL beat on that category.

This is the first year since 2006 I was unable to attend the Toronto Zombie Walk. This was also their 10th anniversary. The Toronto Zombie Walk is an annual challenger as the world's largest, (constantly back and forth with a handful of American cities), and is widely regarded as being the most photographed. It's unconfirmed, but widely believed to be the one that started it all.

For their 10th Anniversay, they stepped it up. Instead of getting parade permits and park permits for Christie Pits Park, and the relatively small neighborhoods of Kensington and The Annex as usual, they took over Downtown Toronto, walking along Queen, University, Dundas and Yonge, and held the main festivities in Nathan Philips Square (The enormous plaza in front of Toronto City Hall).
This is what that looks like:

This music video was filmed at the Toronto Zombie Walk yesterday:
!

(Where was I instead of going to this? Standing with two of my best friends, alongside another friend of ours on his wedding night. It was awesome.)

I'll provide pictures of what THAT looks like as soon as I have access to them.

What the heck is going on on the right hand side of this photo? Dude's head has a giant ear and WTH with the size of the whole head?

I wasn't there, so I don't know. My first thought was it was a crazy weird mask, but since the guy isn't zombied up, and is on stage, he's probably one of the seemingly hundreds of pro photographers. I think more likely it is a weird result of using Adobe's photomerge to make a panoramic photo.

Here is part of what my friend's wedding looked like. The bride and groom made a special request of us, and how could we say no?

Unfortunately the only video was taken on a smart phone camera, and the room was dark:

Fuckin' hell this is annoying.

I'm suffering from pains in my ribcage due to medication and woke up an hour ago. And I couldn't get back to sleep because my brain kept showing me a sit-com starring the bungling but good-hearted grunts from Schlock Mercenary, trying to live in my apartment and not break shit up just because they're all huge and have about three brain cells between them. There was Shep and Nick and some old geezer with a huge cigar and a penchant for blowing things up... and then the Commander from Manly Guys Doing Manly Things showed up for drinks. Hilarity ensued.

I mean, this would be an awesome show, but I need to sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep...

Went on Deviant art to look at stuff....saw a guy's dick on the front page. No "NSFW" blocker like a normal person, just a horrible, evil, clearly photoshopped giant dick. Well *clap* I have my reason to mentally scarred today.

Man, if a dick is enough to scar you, you're not ready for the internet.

Sorry. Once you post something in red, there's no way to go back to black without making it BLACK.

Editted so the whole thing's in red.[DOUBLEPOST=1350925060][/DOUBLEPOST]

The little eraser next to font family removes color from selected text. Just so's ya know.

In fact it removes all formatting but doesn't break links.

So, after all of the issues I had with my computer two weeks ago, and all the time I spent getting it set up and ready to use, I find out today (because one of my coworkers' computer died on Friday) that I was supposed to be instructed to take it to technet (they do tier 1 desktop support) to be set up, because if you screw up doing the domain setup you can brick your laptop and then you have to reinstall the OS and Office and everything else we need. Luckily, I wasn't told to do that, because my coworker did take his laptop to technet, and they bricked it.
