Kags' Cosplay Thread

Truth be told...I didn't really like many femCananda pictures...I'll look through what I have again to see if I have anything else worth sharing, but, don't get your hopes up. I may have to do another shoot of that at another time.
That's a shame. Perhaps another photo shoot in a different lighting will bring out the value of that outfit.

Wow, she's fantastic!!

I have considered doing Sally - Nightmare is one of my favorite movies ever, I grew up watching it.

Hopefully someday. :)

As of right now, I have quite a few cosplans to get through first.

I thought she looked great as Sally - and from what I've seen of your pics, I think you'd be a great Sally as well.

What's the next one on your list after Cheshire or is it a surprise?

Ah, thank you! I do love redheads. And Sally is such a childhood favorite.

Naw, it's not a surprise, but my mind is prone to change. My only two set, for sure, costumes next year/the rest of this year is Bayonetta and concept art Cotton Candy Princess from Adventure Time.

My 'if I have time/money' list for next year is: Fluttershy, Rule 63 Merlin, someone from SuckerPunch, Fruit Tart by Sakizou and continuing to gather materials for Granado Espada Le Rouge Elementalist Dress Monstrosity Thing.

When I do get taken with an idea though, I tend to run with it hardcore. Maybe I can do Sally for next Halloween! That is actually kind of a fabulous idea. :)

First off....

ncts_dodge_man, Sally is a definite go for next years Halloween!! My friends and I discussed it and we're going to do 'Burton Girls' next year. Myself as Sally, my friend as Emily and my other friend as Lydia from the BeetleJuice cartoon.

And thats all!

Do you really think there's more? No, I don't have pictures of Ches.

No, really...

Ahem....
This tree was really scary, you can't tell but, it's just a broken branch hanging over a ravine.

<whiny voice>We have to wait a whole year+ for it though.</whiny voice>

I think you'll be great as her, like almost everything you have done.

Aww, thank you!

Well, at least I'll be cosplaying intermittently throughout the year - it's not like it'll be a year before I cosplay again. (No, never again, I did that once and just...no.)

┬─┬ノ( º _ ºノ) I am really sorry about that, he didn't mean anything by it. We are just happy that you share with us at all....please don't stop....

Jay, if you start funding my cosplay then I could continuously cosplay throughout the year. ;)

If all works according to plan - I would like to purchase everything I need for Bayonetta and Cotton Candy Princess by the end of this year, giving me space to do maybe one more costume early next year. (Probably Fluttershy - I would love to do a spring photoshoot!)

I'm actually quite curious, what would you guys like to see from me in the future? I have a list of smaller fun costumes I would like to make, but nothing epic, after Bayonetta, of course. (And minus Granado Espada Le Rouge Elementalist.)

I'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas!! I still really like the idea of a battle damaged Stephanie Brown Batgirl.

Femshep... Mass Effect...
Armored or casual? I'd say casual would be easier - I've seen some of the armored ones and it looks like a metric ton of effort.

You've already got Sally in mind, so my only other thoughts would either be Cara or Kahlan from the Legend of the Seeker TV series.

Though Cara could turn Jay's mind to mush...

A lot of leather going on there.

Kahlan:

Not the best picture of details, but you get the idea.

Probably casual with the Alliance uniform from Mass Effect 3 or even the Cerberus uniform from Mass Effect 2. It would still be tough but doable. Doing proper N7 armour is a very large undertaking (one I would like to personally do someday for myself).

Demon Hunter from Diablo 3. You always seem to have the most fun playing characters with ferocity and strength behind them.

You want a strong female? Chris Lightfellow from Suikoden 3. Comes in armor clad knight captain and tuniced adventured flavors.

One of my favorite characters for having real family issues, but actually dealing with them without falling into the emo trap that many characters do.

Hell yes AshburnerX seriously great choice. Of the Suikoden series I'd only put one other female over her:

Kika

Perhaps not as deep a character as Chris but pretty high up in the badass scale.
