[Other] The not so funny pic thread (some NSFL or gore)

Seems like it'd make the blade a lot more fragile, or is that just me misjudging the effect those holes have?
As long as there's enough "belly" on the leading edge, the holes should actually make it easier to swing (at zombies or whatever else comes your way).

I'm a teacher. Seeing the dumb fucking names kids have these days doesn't even faze me anymore. It's like some parents want to handicap their kids from the very start.

The adult in me is questioning the use I'd get out of such a vehicle. The child in me OH GOD I WANTS IT LET'S GO PLAY G.I. JOE

The Derweze area in Turkmenistan is rich in natural gas. While drilling in 1971, Soviet geologists tapped into a cavern filled with natural gas. The ground beneath the drilling rig collapsed, leaving a large hole with a diameter of 70 metres (230 ft). To avoid poisonous gas discharge, it was decided the best solution was burn it off. Geologists had hoped the fire would use all the fuel in a matter of days, but the gas is still burning today.

Locals have dubbed the cavern "The Door to Hell".

Everyday that goes by I realize how much closer this movie comes to being true:

It truly was a look into our future.

(I can't find the one comparing the Xbox Live new homescreen to the Ow My Balls screen)

I was honestly amazed with how advanced the technology in idiocracy was, especially considering that they were, you know, stupid.

It's stated that the last few intelligent people, before dying out completely, left really good tech that was simple to use. That's why alot of it was in disrepair/used incorrectly.

Ah. Don't remember that part. The only mention I remember of the last smart people was how they just spent their time on ED pills and hair growth medicine.

Awesome awesome picture of the Elder Scrolls map and how much each game actually covered. Seeing this really continues to upset me about the Elder Scrolls MMO. I really hope we don't see some of these never before seen lands in the MMO before we get them in an ES game.
