The Joel Schumacher error got me a chuckle.
Kinda makes me sad that they used Eartha Kitt for Catwoman instead of Julie Newmar just because I think JN is more widely known for the role.

I was hissed at by a bobcat today. I guess it was almost more of a growl, scared the crap out of me though. I had stumbled on it while I was taking a walk in the woods. It was maybe 20 feet away and had babies with it. I've never seen one that close before. She definitely didn't like me being there, and actually started towards me until I grabbed my dog and went back the way I came. Good thing I was able to grab him before he saw her. I don't think I'll be going back that way for a while.

Man I really need to stay off of Kickstarter at least for awhile. I ended up pledging about $400 for different kickstarter projects this month. Now granted I have the money for it but I really have better thing I could/should be spending the money on. But oh well at least it is going towards some awesome projects (and hopefully some awesome rewards) but I still think I should take a break for a bit.

I just went to my city's council meeting for the first time. Oh god... the drama... It turned out to be more entertaining than anything on television. I suddenly want to vote for my council members based solely on their entertainment-to-watch value rather than their actual stances or history on anything.

Except that this bothers a lot of people who aren't transgendered. Mainly because of how society pretty rigidly teaches and enforces the idea of the separation of genders.
Question: Is it possible to be arrested for using the bathroom of the opposite gender? Like, if a cop was being a dick bag and wanted to "make an example" out of someone?

Yep, it happens, but in Canada as far as I know, there is no actual crime for using the bathroom of a different gender. Merely convention.
That said, everything I know, I am vaguely recalling from this documentary.
I'm leaving my job at the end of next week. Rather than spend these last two weeks playing out the string, instead I'm doing everything that I've thought logically and ethically should have been done with our data and software, but I backed off from because of political pressure in the past.
What are they going to do about it now, fire me? It'll benefit everyone in the long run here, but there is such a short-sighted fear of change atmosphere around here (part of what made me want to leave) that almost no progress can be made on a tech front.
