[Gaming] Diablo 3 : Ser Farm-A-Lot

Got it. Level 60, which is why I've never seen it. Dig it, man. Thanks!
Yeah, it's basically the only way to get any kind of decent droprate on items at 60. Even having shitloads of Magic Find won't help as much as getting those 5 stacks and killing bosses.

Holy hell, Blizzard is having major issues with all their servers. D3, WoW cross platform, Starcraft...all down or lagging like a bitch. HUNDREDS of hardcore characters have died and the boards are lighting the fuck up.

And this is why I hate the always on thing. My system is fine. So my single player game should be fine as well.

Eh, HC characters have always died to lag. It killed more of my D2 HC chars than anything else combined. Not saying that it's excusable, or saying that I plan on running HC anytime soon, but more than likely most of the HC characters that died knew this would happen sooner or later.

Also, apparently the coop hotfix that will reduce the dmg increase from having multiple players has been put online. This should make inferno vastly easier for most players.

Legendary drops are less common below lvl 50, since most of the legendaries in game are lvl 50+. I guess some people may have a problem with that, but from where I stand, if I was restricted to X legendaries, I would prefer if the majority of them were useful to me for the 99% of the time I will be playing at lvl 50+.

Also I've gotten something like 10 legendaries. And pretty much every one of them was garbage.

I've found one, it was a barb only belt. Used it for a couple levels and then sold it for some stupid amount of gold (it was level 45 or something). Considering I've barely seen any Legendaries worth the price tag, I'm not so worried about it. I'd love to get my Barb's set built, but that'd require abot 50million gold for moderately okay stat rolls, likely twice that for all of it to be good.

Finally made it to Act III in Normal :p Level 28, earning about 50 XP per kill from the monster + 75 from +XP items. I may be slightly overleveled at this point...Oh well.

Stupid internet connection at work with 600+ ping, can't play here now :-(

I think I finished Normal at about 32-33, so you're not too far off, really. A4 xp slows a tiny bit as it's a very small Act compared to 3.

Huh, 5 levels to go for 2 whole acts? That's gonna get boring :p I dinged 28 on one of those guards before
Belial
and haven't played after defeating him.

Maybe I'll throw out all the +XP stuff in exchange for magic find :p

A3 is huge, feels like the biggest Act to me. Generally for Normal I just use the drops I find and that's that, I think I bought a weapon once in A4 because I had been using one from A2. Magic find wouldn't hurt, though, might give you some decent stuff to sell/use moving into Nightmare.

I haven't played much since Friday, just wasn't feeling it. A1 Inferno on the Barb, NM A1 on the Monk, and Normal A1 on the baby Wizard (and I am not feeling any kind of Act 1 right now). WD was a lot of fun, but I really don't like having zero control over pets.

I play a WD and it's a lot of fun. Crazy, but fun. You can't control the pets, but there are a lot of other skills you can control that box large groups of enemies in so they can't touch you.

That's why I've staggered my four characters, so that I can play Act 1, Act 3, Act 2, Act 4, Act 2, Act 1, etc. etc. There's usally a good bit of variance in who I can play and when.

I'm on Hell Act I on my Barb. Last night I got D/C'd three times, each time right when I met a blue or yellow foe...and each time I died.

So I turned it off.

I just found out I dont like playing a Dark Hunter. But im already Act 2 in Nightmare. Stupid brain, getting bored of so quickly.

Beat Bellial last night on inferno, then jumped into Act 3. Massive brick wall. Amazing how fast the difficulty scaling ramps up.

I also....well this is a bit shameful to admit....but I had a recipe for a fine crag hammer (5 stats). Not really that good of a recipe, but I wanted to see what I could make, if I could make a good weapon. Well......I spent my entire savings (3 mil). And didn't make SQUAT!

Oh well, lesson learned.

Pretty horrible. I have a very tanky build, probably one of the tankiest mages in game. He didn't one shot me, but he comes close. Any other wizard build and he WILL one shot you.

Health: 39k
Armor/Resists: ~94% overall (~75% armor, ~75% resist all, which works out to like 8500 Armor and ~8-900 resists)
DPS: 22k

I looked through the Neogaf D3 RMAH thread. It's, maybe, the most pathetic thing I've ever read. Good on the folk that are making thousands of dollars selling shiny pixels. The people spending that kind of money on this shit? You don't deserve money.

I think there may be a special place in hell for Blizzard over the lives that will likely end up ruined with this.

Wow! How do you find elite packs with that setup?

My resists need a lot of work.

People are seriously paying that kind of money?

Just a quick look at level 60 items for my Barb on the RMAH with no buyout limit shows people putting $150+ bid minimum and about $250 on buyouts.

I hope people buy all that up, because they don't deserve expendable incomes if so.

Hmm, worked till 5:30 AM, got home at 6h15, have to be in bed by 07h40 so booted up DIII rightaway...Down for maintenance 'till 8am. Boy, if only there was some way for my single player game to work when servers are down, me oh my. What shining breakthrough invention that sort of technology would be! -_-

Also, the prices I've been reading about on fan sites....JHC, people are stupid. I can understand paying some money for top-level items for a character you intend to play a lot on - the final bit of a set, whatever. But a) once you've got top-tier equipment, that's it - there's no other reason to play as long as there's no PVP or "fame" or whatever and b) $150 and up?! Seriously?!

Just....no.

Anyway, since I've suddenly got about an hour and a half of free time, think I'll go play a game or something. What to play, hmmm...
