Holy crap they're popping up everywhere.

It's because I replied to a couple of them earlier, isn't it. It's my fault, isn't it.

I'm sorry. :(

Looks like we'll be relatively unhcouted by the sub prime fiasco. We only have a fraction of the foreclosures of the really troubled areas.Forclosures are not the major fallout of the subprime mess. The real effect is the drying up of the funny money. In a nation with a negative savings rate, a typical Seattle homebuyer is going to have to plop down 50 to 100K now. Almost every friend I have that bought in the last 4-5 years did so with zero or near zero down. Forclosures are the bruise, while tight credit is the broken bone.
Get outta my forums ya punk!

My boss just gave me permission to play on the internet all next week! (Our systems will be down for year end maintinence, but she still wants me to be able to get my hours.) HA! Now I won't have to sneak on to Halforums like ususal.

But will it be such a dirty, salacious pleasure anymore? Unless you start sneaking off into the NSFW section, of course ;)

Cause I think it's hilarious and makes me smile with the image in my head whenever I read it.

And so, it is in my sig.

Are you bothered by it? I can take it down if you want. :)

My daughter is now officially graduated from high school. She actually earned Cum Laude honors, which meant that we had to sit through 80% of the names after her's was called.

My 2 year old nephew became a littler more awesome today. I was over at my sisters today and my nephew is watching Spider-man cartoon and is enjoying. Now of that wasn't awesome enough at one point when Spider-Man appeared on screen my nephew said "that is Peter". Now my sister is extremely over protective and not at all nerdy but my hope for his future had increased significantly. Apparently I am a good influence after all.

My wife saw I was having a rough evening with writing and took time out of her night to go through a bunch of pages to help me.

She's so good to me.

It's a leopard gecko? Three years old. 100.00 for the gecko and full set up.

I'm a bit nervous!
Don't be nervous. Leopard gecko's are hella easy to take care of, as far as lizards go.

Just make sure to give it calcium supplements, as they are prone to develop a calcium deficiency that is kinda like osteoperosis. It curls their fingers, and then they can't shed the skin off them and the old skin hardens and builds up around their feet making it difficult for them to walk. It also destroys their appetite, and generally makes them lethargic. It's not good.

I've had my gecko for close to 15 years, and she's started to develop this now. I've always sprinkled her crickets with calcium powder, and for the past few years I put a calcium supplement in her water as well. But I guess she's just getting old.

He's a rescue animal but he appears to be very well socialized. Apparently the owner had an accident and couldn't take care of his animals any more. :(

I hope we get along.

They are wonderful little pets, great for kids as long as you keep the kids from handling them too much. hey always poop in the same place so the tank is easy to clean, they eat their skin when they shed so you don't have to deal with that, and as lizards go they are quite hardy when it comes to the humidity and temperature levels in the terrarium. Plus they're cute.
Mine found out a few months ago that she can dig underneath her water dish.

(The thing in the water dish is a cricket life preserver. It gives them something dry to crawl on to get out of the dish when they fall in. There has been a literally 100% drop in drowned crickets since I tossed that in there)
