Like all memes, I think they started out pretty funny, and then they got run into the ground and beaten. And then people somehow failed to even grasp the actual premise of the joke, and yet continued to make them anyway.

Which is why I kind of give props to the guys that did Texts From Hillary. They flared up overnight, even got to meet Hillary, and then called it quits.

Top five shitty things, I think, are pictures with words that over-explain what the stupid picture is even about to begin with. Top ten, at least.

makare

two of the memes i hate are similar the thornberry guy head on other peoples bodies, and a picture where they take one persons goofy expression and put it on everyone else.

makare your punctuation is devolving ever so slightly, I've realized. First apostrophes, now commas...lawdy lawdy.

It's brain damage caused by law school. See, the human brain cannot function through law, and vice versa. So law school is a process of selective brain damage in order to understand and function in legal matters. Naturally, other functions are impaired. In many, it's their humanity; it makare, it's her punctuation.

My dislike for apostrophes and commas definitely predates law school. That's why I had robin edit my papers. Those things are high on my don't give a shit list.

You have no idea how true this is; I've seen it in lawyers who can no longer grasp simple logic, but they can weave their way through complex tax and immigration law like water through a simile.
