Look, I know I'm always "blah blah the lot of you sicken me, you filth blah blah" but really... what the heck is the point of these threads? It's hard to get more Jr High than publicly posted lists of people you like and don't like - and it's not even your "friends" list from the forum software!

I know it was just some misguided attempt to gin up emotional social interaction, maybe cause some warm fuzzies or some such nonsense, but such things never work that way.

I guess I've always found the concept of a "friends list" as distasteful as an "enemies list." Either by exclusion or inclusion, it's just more clique BS.

I like having groups of friends. I don't see a clique as a bad thing necessarily either.

As far as these threads go I think they are a symptom of boredom mostly. No more or less useful/less than any other.
