You had Vytamindi blocked?!? That's a new one on me.
If I, recall correctly, I had, dozens blocked, some for the sheer, fun of it. I still have, around 10 or so blocked. Signal to noise ratio, much improved.

But back to point, the thread ignore would be great, I am against poster ignore, for reasons previously stated, but should it be implemented, it would be good to know who has you on ignore. Those are my thoughts on it.

The only person who ever put me on ignore was Mav, after he threw a fit over something. I took it as a badge of honor. I can see how some people would want to know who has them on ignore. The only problem is that other people would lose their shit and kick up as much sand as possible.

Before recently I had only ever put one person on ignore. It would have been silly to rub it in their face. Fun though.... but silly.

Ok so I have a couple people on ignore. Sometimes I can't see that they've posted, other times I see the post but it is blank. Sometimes I see new threads they've started, other times they disappear. It is really weird and disconcerting. What's up?

If you see that they posted, it means that they were the last person to post. The system bumps the thread, but since you don't want to see what the person posts, it shows that they're the reason the thread is on top, but not what they actually said.

Once somebody else responds, the system then hides the ignored person's post because it doesn't need to use it to justify why a thread on the top of the page.

My only problem with the ignore feature is if you are ignoring someone, their posts don't show up. Makes finding certain posts difficult, for sure.

Yeah I'd like to at least see that they posted because otherwise some of my posts seem random (more than usual). But I guess that is the price you pay for the pure awesomeness that is.. the ignore function.

Yeah, we clearly have some very brown-nosed bots posting. Either that, or they're trying to post links, and I think guest posters can't post links so it filters them out.

Yup. It looks like spammers finally figured out that they can post, but not enough to really be spammy yet. Only a matter of time, I think.

I really like having Guests be able to post, too.
