Also one of my favorites ;) I cropped that and used it as an avatar for a while when you were gone, to think of you a little more than I already did :)

Alt explination: NO ONE CARES ABOUT RUBBER DUCKS...
This. It wasn't defended or checked often because it was about a topic that really wasn't all that important. If they had done that to say... William Shakespeare's article, it would have been fixed within 30 minutes. The thing with crowd sourced information is that people in the crowd need to give a fuck about the topic before they'll do anything about it.

What's the first thing you think of when you think of Manos, Hands of Fate?

That's right...
Not enough Puppets!

A PuppetThis production that they put on last year at Seattle's Odd Duck Theater.
There are a few clips on Youtube including a clip cryptically called "Fondle Her Elbow" and the musical big finish.

Problem with that is, that when the idiot professors accept that wiki-laden work, they usually check it again wiki anyway and give it a passing grade.

I mean why not, tenure am I right?
Maybe at Crap U. This would get you through maybe one bad semester. Like I tell everyone else, it ain't the 1950s. Tenure isn't a magic shield anymore, and those bubble in student evals count a LOT. Especially at a state school. Unless you're some old entrenched fart. Then, it is a problem.

For me, the "more wishes" paradox was easy - first wish, "Anything I ever write down by hand that begins with 'And so it was that...' happens."
I always figured two wishes was pretty good. You could blow #1 by wishing the remaining two were granted exactly as you intend. Or you could just include "exactly as I intend" on the end of every wish.
