I've got a coupon no one wants, but hopefully there will be some good finds during the Steam Holiday Sale.

Use this thread to trade games and coupons for something you really want.

It wasn't a prize, but I do have an extra copy of Titan Quest Gold I'm willing to trade for a decent offer (Psychonauts and Costume Quest are what ~~I'm planning to buy anyway~~ bought, bundle FTW.)

Question. Half-Life 2 and The Midsadventures of PB Winterbottom are in my gift bag. If I give them away, do I lose them to play for myself? Because I enjoy replaying HL2 once in awhile...and waiting for a better laptop to play Winterbottom (ran rather slow for me).

Edit: BTW, is your coupon valid for all games, just Sonic or only Valve games? I have one of the latter as well, just want to make sure we're all on the same page.

All Valve games. But I almost never buy full price games and I don't see myself buying a lot in the near future. And it's only good until March 1 so I don't think I'll be able to use it.

If they're just in your gift passes, then you won't be able to play them after giving them away. If you've got them in your Steam Library, but never installed, you can't gift them. If you've got them both places then you can gift your extra copy without losing what's in your library.

This contest thing sucks. I got a fucking hard ass achievement on Defense Grid, that took me an hour of retrying the same God damn level until I got the fucking gold medal for a piece of coal.

You WANT coal, it leads to free games. Each piece is an entry into the main contest. The grand prize of which is EVERY GAME ON STEAM.

They can also be redeemed for free games, which is better than these coupons for games I'll never play.

So, today's free achievement is in a DOTA/LoL clone... I've never played that genre before. Is it going to be difficult to get 10 assists? Am I just going to get slaughtered trying to play this?

Just got Orange Box. Already have HL2, but none of the expansions and such. Good deal, I guess!

Wow, the Frozen Synapse achievement is so incredibly easy (create a custom skirmish where you have one machine gunner, and the enemy has no units at all. Instant win as soon as you end your first turn.)

Too bad inventories are completely down at the moment.

Turns out the Rise of Immortals achievement is easy, but time consuming. A 3 man PvE game can stretch on forever, so it's not hard to get 10 assists, but it just drags. This type of game is not for me.

EDIT: I wish the inventory would work so that I could see what I got, and maybe make a trade at some point.

Oh, the inventory is working. You just can't see anything but coupons unless you're logged in. I got more coal. Uh, yay?
