I read Scott's work and ran quests with him in WoW before I ever saw a picture of him. But when i did, the first thing that crosses my mind was, "that's... not healthy."

I mean guys that size either end up in a wheelchair by middle age or have surgery. Those who get all defensive about it like Scott usually end up dead first.

He used to be really big, but pictures I've seen of him lately show him to be just big. He's lost a lot of weight. It's obvious he struggles with it (as a fat guy myself, I can empathize) but he's made a lot of progress.

So, is Max gay, or is "Chris" short for "Christina?" I'd say the latter, but that Scott will play off of the gay assumption for a while.

The cast of PVP speculated heavily on the subject of Max's possibly homosexuality, but no conclusion was ever reached.

I suspect that this "Chris" that Max hasn't told anyone about will

be a red herring for Max's partner. Instead, it'll be an outside consultant who will interview the cast a la Office Space, eventually leading to the prophesied
Cole-is-fired arc.

I wonder how much he lost when he pulled that trick on Phil Foglio's table? He's never been late since I've begun reading Girl Genius... and that was back in like '05-'06!

Except I'm sure he respects Phil and would have had a nice rapport/conversation with him instead of pulling a trick on him.

All this "future of cartooning" stuff. Really. We're all just future footnotes, at best. Even the best webcartoonists will be.

That was actually a really good strip, but what would have truly taken it to stellar status would be for the last panel to be the same as the third, except ridiculously close up.

That is excellent. I don't know much about Magic but I know Plague Rats, which makes it an accessible joke that you can get on multiple levels too.

In M:TG plague rats are tougher the more you have. Have 4 up? That's 4/4 Attack/Toughness. IIRC.

I once played a non-serious deck that was nothing but plague rats, swamps and dark rituals... man, my friends hated that lol.

Also, I did find the comic funny... so... go Kurtz!

I used to play a White Rebel Deck.Then it got confiscated/burned by my teacher.I went to an Catholic Boarding School and M:TG was a game of "THE DEVIL"
