What are you playing?

I just hope it makes people think twice before rushing out hastily constructed half-assed product in order to capitalize synergistically on current marketing trends.

Just over 80hrs in, have finished Borderlands 2 on normal at level 32. It's very shooty. According to the achievement stats from Steam, only 1 out of every 3 people who play BL2 on Steam actually finish it (it says "32.9% of players have this achievement").

Sadly, I have now missed TWO of the optional quests, since I didn't notice that one is tacked onto the final quest until after I had pulled the trigger (because I was worried the game's ending would be similar to that of Fable*). Welp, time to clean up the lingering unfinished quests and/or start a new character and/or move on to TVHM.

Oh, and Diablo is still waiting for me to drop by.

*A game which I have not yet played, but y'know, spoilers.

Garrys Mod - The game has so many servers, you will never run out of things to do.
Terraria - Me and my friends needed a cheap but fun game to play so we decided to get this.
Arma 3 - I really like the realism and all the different vehicles you can use, its really fun and immersive.
Squad - Again, I like the realism and its really satisfying to get a kill, mostly a walking simulator though if your squad lead doesn’t know what he is doing and doesn’t place down rally points, forcing you to spawn at a FOB or even worse, the main base. Not worth the $40 imo due to lack of content, w8 till it goes on sale.

How do you like Terraria? I thought about getting a four pack for the family. I find that Minecraft makes me super pukey though.

I have found Terraria gets a lot harder than Minecraft a lot sooner. If you don't build a shelter like right away the monsters will bend you over and go in without lube.

Greedfall tries to tackle colonialism in a tonedeaf way only Europeans could come up with. What if white people were being colonized?

I find these Spiders action rpgs unplayable janky. Greedfall might be the best one technically but it still reeks of their usual Eurojank.

I recently bought the Arkane collection for my Xbox because it was on sale in the MS Store (30 bucks for Dishonored, Death of the Outsider, D2, and Prey) and have been playing through Dishonored first. Good stuff.

Finally got to start Control after biting the bullet and picking it up in the Steam sale. It's extremely my shit, but it has caused me to reach a milestone in my PC life.

I...I had to turn the graphics settings down for the first time. :okay:

I started it with full blown ray tracing, and gods it looked good, but it fully shut down after a few minutes and I couldn't aim because of the lag.

I'm glad I bought Hades on Switch vs. PC. I like being able to just play it while laying around.

Also Empire of Sin comes out this week! :aaah::aaah::aaah::aaah::csi:

I got my wife addicted to Genshin Impact, a free to play BOTW style game with an anime skin. I admit, I'm tempted as hell myself.

My son and I are playing Monster Hunter Generations Unlimited. It’s super fun, but I miss some of the changes they made in World such as removing pick axes and bug nets.

Still playing Control, and it still continues to be super rad. Easily Remedy's best game, and that's pretty high praise.

I'm wrestling with the idea that I'm not really going to enjoy this until I replace my rig. Ye olde gaming laptop is not quite up to the challenge.

Anyone have an interest in Project Winter? It needs a min of 5, so I'm gauging if anyone might have interest.

Also, Microsoft Flight Simulator is apparently getting full VR support in a couple of weeks, which might end up being awesome.
