[News] The USA Police State will never satisfy its lust for beating, gassing, and imprisoning minorities

You know you fucked up when everyone from the Amish to Witches are coming out to protest you. They even got Anonymous to come out of retirement.

Hell, people in other frigging countries are protesting.

When Mr. Z asked if I heard what happened in Camden, I braced for the worst. For those who aren't familiar, Camden, NJ, located only a couple of miles from Philadelphia (only separated by the Delaware River) has topped the America's Most Dangerous City list for many years, or usually in the top 10. A few years ago, budget cuts made them reduce their police force by 42%.

I am so happy to be wrong.
Camden Police Department marches in solidarity with protestors.

We are under a curfew here in Arizona. 8 PM to 5 AM AZT until the 8th.

Interesting definitions from the order:
2. For purposes of this order, “travel” includes, without limitation, travel on foot, bicycle, skateboard, scooter, motorcycle, automobile, or public transit, or any other mode of transporting a person from one location to another.

3. For purposes of this order, “public place” means any place, whether on privately or publicly owned property, accessible to the general public, including but not limited to public streets and roads, alleys, highways, driveways, sidewalks, parks, vacant lots, and unsupervised property.

How the fuck can they limit travel on private land? The FUCK? What makes that fucking PUBLIC? That shit is not enforceable.

This is Art Acevedo, Houston's Chief of Police:

He marched with protestors, and gave this speech about the problems with police violence:

Houston isn't under curfew tonight. I think it's pretty clear why one of the biggest cities in the nation, and the city George Floyd is from, isn't under curfew because of police violence. Leadership had the guts to stand up and say that something is wrong, that people are being heard, and there's hope for change.

WOIO challenges City of Cleveland inclusion of news media in curfew orders

"Throughout the day Sunday, WOIO, along with other Cleveland media outlets - were told repeatedly by Police Department representatives that there was no media waiver to the curfew whatsoever. After WOIO posted this letter and began to receive inquiries from around the country about it, Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson reversed the decision to apply the curfew to news media. "

We'll see how well this plays out in practice.

Yes, reporters are being deliberately targeted. Conservatives have been told for years that reporters are the enemy of the people. No one should be surprised what the end result of that repeated message is.
