Former President Trump Thread

If anything, Trump + Mitch have shown a fundamental flaw in your checks-and-balances. The Founding Fathers definitely didn't intend a single (unelected for the role) person to hold the whole legislative power in his hand.
Well, in that case we also have the non-political Judicial branch to help with checks and balances...until that became politicized as well. So they've effectively taken over all three branches.

Again, McTurtle couldn't do what he's doing if his own party didn't tacitly back him.

So it's not a single person, they're just pretending it is to avoid any backlash.

Stop falling for it.

Well the first step in troubleshooting/debugging is to change one thing and see what happens, so I'm actually ok with subbing someone else in for McTorty to see where things go.

Gonna be awkward for cheeto this week. He's promised to visit El Paso and console them, yet still owes their police department $500,000 from his last visit in unpaid overtime.

Trump not paying a bill? No way!

Why anyone in their right mind does business with this idiot is beyond me. I know the cities he visits don't usually have a choice, but this is his MO and I don't know why people don't just tell him to fuck off.

I seem to recall, back in 20186 (it's been tthat long already?), at least 1 person he stiffed saying he'll vote for him...

People are the worst.

As long as his/hers seat is safe? Nothing...

Well, he's calling for the involuntary confinement of mentally ill people now. I don't know how many more plays he has left out of that specific 30s-40s regime playbook he has left.

I would be laughing too if I saw such stereotypical Trumpsters. The dude even had a 44 oz soft drink and didn't even want to stand up to show his sign.

Mississippi Immigration Raids Net Hundreds Of Workers

"One of the plants is owned by Koch Foods Inc., which bills itself as one of the largest poultry processors in the U.S. with more than 13,000 employees."

"Another plant raided Wednesday was in Canton, Miss., and is owned by Peco Foods Inc., based in Tuscaloosa, Ala. It is the 8th largest poultry producer in the U.S.,"

How much does this hurt these businesses, and are they owned by people who Trump wishes to harm? How does this effect their stock price, and who made money off that change?

So a few days ago, a Montana man choke slammed a child for not removing his hat during the national anthem. His attorney is arguing that due to brain damage suffered years ago, the man believed that he was acting in good faith to carry out a lawful order issued by his Commander in Chief. His brain damage occured while serving in the military and for which he was honourably discharged.

For those of you not familiar with this, it's known as the Nuremburg Defense.

I saw that article and I remember it mentions this was not the first time he was arrested for assault. After seeing the bruising (and reading the child was suffering from skull fracture as well), I hope something horrible happens to that asshole worse than jail.
