New video up with professors Oak and Willow about the new mythical Meltan.
Video itself is fine, but the message at the end there is kind of concerning..."link your game to find Meltan". It seems to only mean link with Pokémon Go if you want to find him in Pokémon Let's Go, but it might mean both ways...and frankly, I don't know anyone IRL who has a Switch and will be playing PLG.

Are you still having problems? Have you tried force closing the app and trying to log in again?
Yup and yup. Multiple times.
On my Android, sometimes I’ll get an error message and will have to log back in. I need to log out, attempt to log back in (which will fail), then I need to force close the app. Then the next time I log in, it will work. Sounds weird, but after trying several permutations this is seemingly the only reliable way that works.

I got two shinies, one of which has evolved into the second-highest CP Pokemon in my collection.
My highest CP Pokemon, coincidentally, is also a Metagross.
I didn’t catch any for the first 45 minutes plus and finally reset my phone. Thank goodness I did. Cotton Candy was a trade from a friend.
You haven't by chance installed a third party keyboard recently? Like as part of an IV checker?

@checkeredhat only other thing I can think of is uninstall/reinstall, although you've probably already done so. Have you managed to get in touch with Niantic?
Are you using a rooted phone? I know that can cause issues. Aside from that, I have no idea.
