Video Game Battle Music

So, many an RPG or action game or what have you have had the difficulty of having battle music that won't grind away at your sanity while you hear it for the 1100th time in a single play session. What are some of the real good ones that stand above the others?

I can't think of one I like better than Cosmic Star Heroines. It's rully good. This is the plain old fight with any old random encounter mob battle music in Cosmic Star Heroine.

Second place might be Man with the Machine Gun from Final Fantasy 8, which was a billion times better than the regular party battle music.

Dishonorable mention goes to FF10, which had a God awful battle theme (but made up for it with some amazing boss ones).

Star Control 2

Rise of the Triad

Saints Row 3 (this one's kind of a copout because it's a real song :p )

Undertale

Mega Man 2

One Must Fall 2097

Ultima Underworld (this one was especially panic-enducing when you heard it come out of nowhere and didn't even know you were under attack)

And last but not least... Halforums Academy 2 :D

I can't ever hear this without immediately going here, and I've never even played FF8:

I’ve been diving through the Furi soundtrack lately on my commute. It makes driving in traffic easier to deal with.
A taste, especially for anyone on the forum who might happen to like Synthwave:

EDIT: Replaced with a better example, previous example here.
