I spent some time on their site looking up the problem and you can now link your PTC account to your Google and:eek:r Facebook accounts. I did that earlier and then I logged out and logged back in through Google. It seemed to go much faster.

I just got another EX pass for next Monday and my son did too! It’s a holiday, which is awesome, so he can attend because it’s in the middle of the day and wouldn’t have been able to otherwise.

The only rough part is that when we were at the park earlier, my daughter didn’t want to walk over to the gym that was having a Sableye raid and that was the one that holds EX raids and that Sableye was the only one my son has ever done there so it must have been what gave him his pass and now she doesn’t have one :(

...and Lugia is back. Nobody seems to know kids this is intentional or not, yet.
America had 35 days of Latios and a double candy event; Europe and Asia "only" get 28 of the "more useful" of the Eon duo. Now we get a second level 5 raid boss to share the level 5 spawns.
Not a huge thing for regular players maybe but anyone who cares about the meta - our those casual players who have a hard time getting one of every legendary- is screwed on our side of the globe.
We'll see if it stays this way - I'm still on holiday so haven't raided at all in days...But since I still don't have a shiny Lugia, I wouldn't necessarily mind all that much. Not like I really need all that many Latios, and I have two.

Lugia seems to be gone again, with Lati@s properly spawning.

I also had a good day today - caught an almost passable Latias with a Pinap, then successfully got the people at the EX raid to calm down and coordinate so nobody got left out. Ended up with an 88% Shadow Ball Mewtwo - which would be more exciting if the attack IV weren't 10, but still pretty decent.

Happy Ho Oh Day! Mine isn’t awesome, but he was kind enough to join my team, so I love him!!

Community Day hasn’t started for us yet. We’re going to get ready soon and head to a big park that has tons of gyms and stops. Quite a few people from my raid chat plan to be there as well, so we’re hoping that we can get a raid or two in as well :)

I wanted to share a chart that was shred in our chat. What a perfect IV Charmander’s CP is at every level. For extra needing on the go, I guess, lol :)

While working today... ugh, always something else on top of the community days.

I managed to get enough Charmanders to evolve a Charmeleon and a Charizard. Only caught one shiney 'Mander though, only one I saw.

Someone around here saw their only shiny right at the end of the event. As they were in the process of catching it, the event ended and it turned non-shiny. Brutal.

I caught somewhere in the area of 225 charmander, of which 6 were shiny and one (sadly not one of the shinies) has 100% IVs. I also gained about 250k stardust and did a Ho-Oh raid.

Good day all around, think I'll take it easy for a couple days until the next event starts.

Neither my son or I caught Mewtwo today which totally sucked, but I did catch this weather boosted Ho oh which helped make up for it. My son also finally got his first Latias, so he got something cool today too :)

I caught a reasonable Ho-Oh and a pretty good (91%) Latios today.
My girlfriend, who I managed to drag out again for a change, caught a 89% SHINY Ho-Oh and a 98% Latios. GAH! I'm happy for her, of course :)

So Alolan forms are coming soon. I don't think any of them are looking to be very strong, but it's more different things to catch!

A bit surprising they're introducing them already, but I can understand them wanting to do something else than "yet another shiny" and not wanting to do gen 4 yet.

There's speculation that it's a request/pressure to tie in with the main series games on the Switch. No idea if it's true, obviously, but it would go a ways towards explaining why they're coming so far out of sequence. Just too bad that outside of Golem none of the new forms are likely to have much of an impact.

That's awesome!! He looks super cute. I haven't caught any shiny guys yet, but I can confirm that raids are giving bonus experience. 17,000 for winning a legendary raid and 34,000 with a lucky egg.

Apparently spinning a stop you've never visited before is good for 2100 xp. 4200 if you've got an egg going. Depending on what's around, could be faster than a mass evolution.

That said, I'm not really feeling this event. It all feels a bit pointless with the best current rock attacker getting the next community day. I'll keep walking for candy and raiding as things line up, but I'm not really excited at all for possible catches - especially the awful green Kabutos.

There is a new daily mission available during this event that requires you to evolve either an Omanyte or a Kabuto. The reward is an Aerodactyl.

I did it three times today. You can only get the quest once a day from the same Pokestop, but you can get it from three different ones.

I plan to do this one a ton and try to find a shiny Aerodactyl. He looks cool.

Today was redemption for last Monday’s debacle.

My son, daughter and I all got Mewtwos today. What a relief! No EX passses went out yesterday like they often do in our area so today was our only chance for a while.

The really cute part was that the kids got identical ones. No fighting over who got a better one. Thank you Poke-gods.
