From what I heard he dissolved it because if he didn't, the commission would have to share their information with Democrats.

He sent a cease-and-desist to the publisher of this upcoming book, too. Apparently he thinks you can’t publish a book if it’s damaging to the president.

Also, cell phones are now banned in the West Wing. Period. For everyone, all the time. His Press Secretary is claiming it’s for “cyber security” but the staff is leaking to the press (ha!) that it’s just to prevent more damaging leaks that show how dysfunctional they all are.

I'd read that only PERSONAL cell phones are now banned. Government issued ones for employees are fine.

Personally I think that this is reasonable for a high security area, and I'm surprised that wasn't already the case. That itself is rather odd imo.

The rest I didn't quote is of course totally absurd to try and silence people like that.

The White House is instituting new policies on the use of personal cell phones in the West Wing in the wake of damaging reports of a chaotic Trump administration detailed in a new book.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders released the following statement on the policy change:

The security and integrity of the technology systems at the White House is a top priority for the Trump administration and therefore starting next week the use of all personal devices for both guests and staff will no longer be allowed in the West Wing. Staff will be able to conduct business on their government-issued devices and continue working hard on behalf of the American people.

CBS News' Mark Knoller reports that during the Obama administration, reporters were not allowed to bring personal devices into the Roosevelt Room.

That makes sense unless the place someone heard/read an item was social media. If Krisken puts it into Google and nothing pops up because one of us just read it on some crackpot's Twitter feed, wouldn't it make sense to ask where the info came from?
