[MLB] 2023 Major League Baseball Season (MLB Thread)

This was the same organization that brought in two cricket players to play in the organization. Speaking of which, where are they now?

Rinku Singh is still in the Pirates system, playing for Bradenton of the GCL. Dinesh Patel is a baseball instructor back in India.

The whole thing with the Predators has me so down, I'm figuring I need to finally buck up and see how badly the Brewers are...

I've been playing a little more attention than usual to the season this year because I joined a fantasy league for charity...um, is Ervin Santana just quietly having a Cy Young year?IMG_0959.PNG

ESPN, you answered your own question. If a kid does something that's been done 16 times before, it obviously was NOT the greatest offensive performance ever.

And word is the Giants are having putting any and all players not named Buster, Bumgarner, or Crawford up for sale. Which makes total sense, by the way, seeing as the team couldn't make a turd sandwich without screwing something up.

It's just hard. I've enjoyed the ride as a fan for the last 10 years so much, I guess I didn't want it to ever end. They've been competitive for 10 straight years! We haven't seen them be sellers at the deadline since 2007 or so, and it takes time to readjust. We're spoiled.

And of course the Pirates make them look like a roster of hall of famers this weekend.

They also swept the Rockies right before you guys, too. Meanwhile, @Tress and I are sitting here like "Where da fuq has THIS been all season?!"
I'm trying to look on the upside there. If they play better before the deadline, the Giants will get better prospects for whomever they trade away.

I only did the rating because I wasn't sure if it was because the Pie-rates lost to a team near and dear to the hearts of some others on this board, or not.
