I've only ever had this happen with my iphone. Never had it happen on the android. But when it does, I usually already have the photo on my computer, so I just open it in paint, hit save, and close paint, and it fixes it.
 
Yeah. When you rotate a picture on iPhone, it's more like the phone just remembers to display it to you in the new orientation rather than changing the actual metadata to reflect the new orientation. I don't get it, either.

We finally got a good taste of snow in Western Washington. I'm pretty close to the foothills of the Cascades, so we got 14" of thick, wet, heavy snow starting at 8am yesterday and just now starting to slow down (before we're supposed to get another 3" this afternoon).
