Whats for Dinner?

Huh. I have never seen Challah in a non-Jewish context. I honestly thought it was one of those things that non-Jews didn't eat.

Bought a huge beef tenderloin for $97 at Costco.

Cut it down into 12 1.5"-ish (4cm) filet mignons.

Cooked 3 of them on the grill tonight, served with a side of garlic bread sticks and butternut squash souffle.

I wasn't expecting all that much from Costco meat, especially at $8.00/steak but those were some of the most tender filets I've had in a long long time.

I'll be doing that again.

(this is one of the smaller filets, because my wife doesn't eat as much as me, or as much as my teenaged son)

Meh, if sweet pickle relish works, I don't see why strawberry preserves can't.
Get back to me when you make a peanut butter and bacon sandwich.
