Reigns loses clean to Rollins, then Ambrose cashes in and wins the title. I honestly cannot believe they really pulled the trigger on this idea. We're getting the Shield triple-threat match after all!

Well the prevailing thought was, the MiTB would be cashed before the split.

My poor Becky!

Not really clean. Ref bump, and then Rollins kicked out of an extremely long two count. It was the perfect set up where both of them have a legit rematch claim even past the normal "rematch clause".

I would still call it clean, Reigns caused the ref bumb himself so it's his own damn fault. Rollins was in it, but he was merely a body when it happened. I know how they'll play it, but the finish was no more dirty than if Rollins picked up the win after Reigns speared himself into the barricade.

This post appeared on Reddit recently:

Let me start by saying that I'm a power lifter, and that I train on and off with friends who use steroids. I've also taken several classes to become a physical trainer, which cover the effects of steroid use in great detail to help you identify clients that are cycling.
In my curiosity following Roman's suspension, I looked up the Wellness Policy. One of the more interesting things I found was this quote, to which I bolded one important word:
APPLICABILITY OF THIS POLICY This Policy, as it may be amended from time to time, is applicable to and binding upon all WWE Talent under contract to WWE who regularly perform in-ring services as a professional sports entertainer (“WWE Talent”).
What's interesting there is that only talent who are active on the roster are applicable. Injured, part time, on vacation, or currently suspended wrestlers are not subject to testing. This means that anyone who is placed on an official injured list can do a steroid cycle and get clean again before resuming full-time work.
This also has another extremely interesting meaning; people like The Rock, Brock Lesnar, Triple H, Vince, Batista, or anyone else who has been part time over the last several years can juice or use other illegal substances without any penalty, other than the law.
A lot of people commented on how much bulk Rollins was able to build while he was rehabbing his knee. Personally, I trust the work ethic of the man and believe he did it naturally, but it is a very real possibility that he could have hit the juice without fear of penalty.
John Cena is another talent who is constantly under scrutiny from fans as a possible Steroid user. Every time he's injured (which is admittedly becoming more and more common), he comes back bigger, faster, and more vascular.
For anyone who isn't familiar with the effects of HGH or AAS usage, it heavily promotes increased blood flow to your muscles. This increases vascular development and gives off the well known "overly-veiny" appearance associated with steroid use. Cena absolutely has this look when he returns from injury, and it starts to fade after 5 or 6 months.
Brock Lesnar was recently under fire from his future UFC opponent for not being subject to UFC's drug testing. Many people shrugged this off under the account that he is tested by the WWE, but as he is a part time talent, he is not subject to testing under the policy.
I'm a huge fan of Brock, and I've followed his career closely. With the knowledge I have about natural muscle growth vs unnatural growth, I can honestly say I don't think Brock uses steroids. This conclusion is based on comparing photos from his NCAA days, High School Wrestling footage, NFL training photos, and his early FCW stuff. With that said, it definitely doesn't look good if this policy gets a large amount of main stream exposure, and could cause some serious controversy for both the UFC and the WWE.
Triple H is definitely on steroids now that he is exempt from testing. There's really no doubt about it. He's far more vascular and far larger than he was when he was an active competitor for the few years after the policy was put in place. He grew exponentially after his pseudo retirement against the Undertaker in 2011 when he officially became a part time performer as the COO.
The Rock and Batista I don't follow well enough to make an educated guess about. Batista has always been an animal (lol) though, so who knows.
If even half of this is true, it shows just how far WWE's hypocrisy goes. Here's WWE pushing HHH, Cena, and Brock as these unnatural beasts who are superior to everyone else while simultaneously putting constant pressure on the rest of the roster to look just like them. Except they CAN'T because they're banned from using any kind of muscle enhancers.

It also explains how many guys are able to make miraculous returns from injury so quickly.

I'm trying to be optimistic, and hoping that we'll get different creative teams for each brand and like NXT, SmackDown can become its own thing, and not just the lazy writing that is the past 2 years of WWE but with a weaker roster.

On the plus side, American Alpha!

The thing is, by thinning out the rosters and dividing them, some of these guys might not be so "buried" anymore. They'll need to put people out at the forefront, so it's an opportunity.

Too bad for Cesaro, though. Smackdown would have been his best chance to break into the main event.

What a week!

The new Raw title has such a stupid name - Universal Title. Smackdown has the WWE Big Long Name Title belt, and Raw responds like an eight year old.

"We're champion of the world."

"Well, we're champion of the universe!"

Finn gets a MONSTER push right out of the gate. Demon Finn at Summerslam against Rollins? Yes, please. Put the belt on Finn.

Both fatal four way matches were fun. Reigns seems to have added a Razor's Edge/Powerbomb to his move set. He needed something more.

Sasha gets the belt before Summerslam!?! Yes! What a match, too!

Gotch is the first elimination on the Smackdown battle royale. After getting into an actual fight with Sin Cara backstage, (and getting his ass handed to him) that comes as no surprise. Crewes needed some momentum, and hopefully it worked. They brought him up fast, but he's damn talented. Zach Ryder had a rough one. He botched multiple times that match. He's usually better than that.

I think I love Heath Slater's new gimmick. It's so stupid, but it could be so great.

Becky vs. Natalya was good, but that rivalry just needs to go away. They also need to clarify how the Women's Division will work if there's only one belt.

Dolph Ziggler! Holy shit! Never saw that coming, especially after going Crewes vs. Corbin so often. I thought one of them would be the upset if it wasn't Styles or Wyatt. I enjoy Ambrose, but I really want to see Dolph get some kind of title reign. That guy has put in the work, and if not for his injuries, he probably would have been one of the top guys over the last few years.

Bobby Roode's theme might be the first truly great theme the CFOdollarsign's have created. They have a few good ones (like Finn Balor's, Sasha Banks', Nakamura's and a couple of others) and MANY terrible ones (all the Shield members).

His theme got him immediately over.

Best theme since:

Side note, they're already ruining Finn on the main roster with this Demon King bullshit. Vince sucks so bad.

Bayley vs Asuka 2 from TakeOver last night had some incredible in ring storytelling. It's joining Zayn/Nakamura on my list of MOTY potentials.

Takeovers make main roster PPVs look bad. They just do.

But, seriously, give back the Curb Stomp to Rollins and ban the Turnbuckle Bomb. That damn move has caused multiple major injuries now.

Also, fuck Brock Lesnar. That Summerslam ending wasn't a work, no matter what Vince says. According to multiple reports, Chris Jericho went to check on Orton after the match (The producer he talked to couldn't tell him if was a work.) and Brock took offense. They ended up tangling and Vince was the one to pull them apart.

Lesnar has a bad attitude, isn't respected by his peers, has fewer moves than Reigns, and can't wrestle safely. Never mind he's a roid-monster that gets a free pass on the Wellness Policy. It's sickening that he gets paid so much for so little, and guys basically get sent to a sacrificial alter when they're booked against him.

Raw is already boring. Insteam of bringing Bayley in I would rather Carmella borrow the title last night. Starting a cross brand women's fued.

And I hope Owens wins next week. I can't stomach any of the other options.

Poor RuRu. He's the star of the show, but no love.

Need more Slater.

God Titus sucks on the mic.
