Whine like a baby, now with 500% more drama!

Tweaked my back yesterday, and it ready doesn't feel any better today, so huzzah for a second day of any moving around I need to do being met with pain and me hissing through my teeth.
My hug rating was supposed to be chiropractic. I don't think it helped.

Ahhhhh, when I was home I could lay in bed and suck it up, but now that I'm driving kids around and constantly getting in and out of the car, I am ready to curl into a ball and cry. Why oh why did I not pop Tylenol or Advil or something before I left the house. This wouldn't suck as bad if I had my own car back, because getting in and out of the car would be easier just by virtue of the seat positioning.

I have a god awful, ice pick to the head type headache, combined with eye pain and terrible light sensitivity and my son is glued to me. He's sitting here sniffing, snorting and generally being an obnoxious sound effects machine and I'm pretty sure he's doing on purpose to drive me insane. I need to be resting and it's like nails on a chalk board. If I tell him to stop he cries and if I offer to blow his nose for him or whatever he cries.

Take a picture of him crying, caption it "because I offered to blow his nose" and send it to Reasons My Kid Is Crying.

The days are long, but the years are short.
Yep. In my day to day busy-ness I have to keep reminding myself that the time I have with my children as children is limited. Sitting down and playing a game of skip-bo last night with the 4 year old and 11 year old while the 2 year old orbits around us with constant interruptions and the baby watching from the high chair (happily, which is nice since she's been pretty clingy lately) may be a big exercise in patience, but I will still miss it when they are grown and gone.

I just realized why I can't vacation in Michigan again. I know where Encore Records is now, and I'd blow the whole wad there on the first day.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. :p

My back still hurts (but at least feels a little better), my neighbors started loudly assembling a shed right outside my bedroom window this morning, and my daughter threw a temper tantrum because I made her call her friend to ask what her book report is supposed to be written about after she told me she didn't know what she was supposed to write about, and I called her bluff.
