I think its stupid to not have him in the hall of fame. Its even more stupid that Shoeless Joe isn't in it.
Two different cases. The evidence against Shoeless Joe was weak, and he may not have been a willing participant in the scheme.

Pete knew what he was doing was in violation of the one unpardonable, unforgivable sin in baseball. The rule has been on every clubhouse wall since before he was born. But Pete didn't care. He lied about his activities at the time, and has continued to lie, or at least not be completely honest ever since. And he has been baiting MLB ever since. That lack of contrition or repentance is what really hurts his case.

Not to mention he's just an asshole anyway.

He had more hits than any player in the history of the sport. Don't let him actually coach again, but its dumb that he isn't in the hall of fame.

@Emrys your new avie is so CUUUUUTE. I just thought you should know.

In other news, I fell down twice today on my way to my car this morning. It's so slippery here and I was not prepared!! I flopped around like a newborn baby deer.

Nobody is at work but me.

Usually I would be here for at least another hour, but I think I'm going to try to sneak out early.

It's been that kind of day.

So random.

I'm selling an IR modified camera and am asking $250. So a few people are interested after the holidays. That's cool. One dude runs a hair supply place and has offered to barter $250 in hair supplies and/or Dom Perignon.

Random.

I read this on my facebook and thought of you, @Cajungal
"Mom, I just wish you were there today when it happened so I could talk to you."
Situation: [Son] figured out something on a worksheet that was difficult and responded out loud, "I'm done! I'm done! I'm done!"
Teacher (frustrated), "[Son], you don't have to say it 5 TIMES!"
[Son] (matter of factly and confused), "I only said it 3 times."
[Son] was given a "blue slip" for talking back to the teacher. He is Captain Literally and the poor teacher must have had a hard day.
Hang in there Cajungal! Holiday break is so close!

Someone replied to the above post with "Teaching elementary school in the weeks before Christmas means always walking a fine line between hysterical laughter and hysterical crying--and that's just the teacher! Been there."
