I'm down to 210 pounds. Down from 225-230 (depending on the day) a few months ago. And I just discovered the best thing about the weight loss so far:

For the first time in five years, I can fit into my biking jacket again.

You know, I automatically tried to look for any of the tell-tale signs of photomanipulation...bent wall tiles behind you, blurry edges around your perimeter, etc., but I'm not seeing anything.

You should get your eyes checked. I passed the image through a forensics program, and it re-flanged the hidden photo-layering and optimized the lighting cells, revealing the truth underneath.

He'd like us to believe he's not from a dystopian future, but we're onto him!

... you kinda have a tendency to delete pictures you post of yourself a week or so after you post them.

...no? Not something I do intentionally. Unless there's a reason the pictures stop working. Might be because I'm directly copying the picture from Facebook most times?

I suppose that could be it. I just noticed a few times in the past that when I've gone through old threads, the pictures you post tend to vanish. Like that time you dressed up like a PI and I photoshopped your finger to have better trigger discipline - the ones you posted vanished, but my photoshops are still there.

My wife got a job as a full time college professor. This is epic and a little surreal since I used to be one and went into the private sector. The part that bugs me the most is that her salary is more than I would've made post tenure at my old university, and that was a much bigger school.

Because the difference in salary is enormous even versus the promoted position I would've had at an R2 university vs the entry position she's getting at the community college she's at. It just strikes me as odd.

Well, that was an enjoyable time. She was cute, witty, and I enjoyed her company. And she seemed to have enjoyed seeing Krampus.

That said, I don't think there'll be a second date. I'd like to see her again, but I don't think the feeling was mutual. Ah well. I still had a good time.

Took a look at my Google Analytics page tonight. Things were looking like they'd end with a slight decrease in traffic this week.

NOPE.

There was a major jump today, and my traffic damn near cracked 5,000 uniques in a week for the first time ever. My Top Webcomics Rank is 32, and that weird Webcomicslist ranking is due to their trawler not being able to connect to my site; I'm working on getting that fixed.

Anyway, nice ending to the week for Supervillainous.

My kid is a brat. Just as the last kid left, I put my hand on his shoulder and my wedding ring scratched him. He full out punches me in the hip with his new Hulk Smash gloves on. The hip on the side where my SI is fusing and horribly painful.

I actually cried from the pain it was so intense.

I think it's more that the cc system is growing rapidly in this country and they have tons of students. The tuition there isn't significantly different from the tuition at my old university.

Also they are paying her based on significant real world experience (which I did not have when I started).
