If anyone's planning on paying Wasabi a visit, there's a price war going on now between the airlines for tickets to Hawaii.

http://www.travelandleisure.com/articles/cheap-flights-hawaii-virgin-america[DOUBLEPOST=1446933634,1446933058][/DOUBLEPOST]There's a new app out there, Rumblr, for IF U WANT AN ASS KICKING

This seems... kind of awesome. Is this real?[DOUBLEPOST=1447078535][/DOUBLEPOST]Re starbucks:
I find it funny that the same people who complain about this are the same ones who complain about government. It sounds a little like this to me:

"Hands off of business!"
"Oh no, this business did something I disagree with! Get 'em!"

Mom may need to go to the local HealthSouth facility for leg wraps to combat swelling. It's right across the street from a Starbucks. An excuse to go get red cups to spite the haters. :)

They're not Christmas trees, dammit! They're Yule Trees! There were no pines in Bethlehem! Trees hung with apples were a Gaelic symbol to ask the Gods to send back fruit-bearing trees come spring! CHRISTIANS ARE STEALING MY GERMANIC RELIGIOUS SYMBOLS!
Also,
SANTA CLAUS doesn't exist! He's a cheap commercialized version of Saint Nicholas! American consumerism is stealing my traditional Christian festivities!
Also,
Christ was more likely than not born in January or August, given the appearance of the Star! The Orthodox Church at least has their festivities at a somewhat appropriate date! Leave end-of-December for those of us who want to celebrate the winter solstice! Or Agnostica! Or Chanoeka!
Also,
Christmas should be about giving to the poor, coming together as a family, and opening your house to the less fortunate! A proper Christmas celebration is to invite at least one homeless or pauper and give him/her a feast and a bed for the night, as The Lord made clear is our duty as Christians! A festival of decadence, waste and commercialism is the very antipode of what we should be celebrating! If Jesus came today he'd treat those "Christians" celebrating like the money lenders in Temple! Not in His Name!

...So, $1 from CG, and $1 from Wasabi, right? I've made money for charity in worse ways :p

I cannot understand how people are taking so much offense at Starbucks right now. OMFG SUCK IT THE FUCK UP. NO HOLIDAY DECORATIONS ON THE CUPS! STARBUCKS HATES CHRISTIANS!!!!!!!!!

Ugh.
I would argue that Starbucks likes Christians just as much as they like anyone else, as long as they are still buying their stuff. The only reaction I have seen to this is a movement wherein Christians are encouraged to buy a drink and tell the barista that their name is "Merry Christmas" just to get them to acknowledge Christmas despite company policy. News flash, guys, if you want to get a company to change the way it does things, BUYING MORE OF THEIR STUFF IS NOT THE WAY TO DO IT, even if it does result in an easy "gotcha!"

See, there actually is a cultural war on Christianity, same as there ever has been since the church was founded. Starbucks is not a part of that war - at least not in the way these SJWs seem to think it is. If you are offended by something as trivial as a pure red cup from a company that never once claimed to be affiliated in any way with the Christian religion, you need to examine where your security truly lies.

Speaking as someone from the third world, it seems to me that when a society has relatively less problems, the people living in that society desperately want to find something to complain about.
I call those people "The Professionally Offended."

Holy shit, apparently Cyriak did the opening title animation for the upcoming Bob & David. Could not be more stoked for that show.
