[Webcomic] Webcomic Appreciation Jamboree

I'm really glad Dumbing of Age runs 7 days a week. I would not want to wait until Monday.
(And hello, Maggie! Put the pedal to the metal!)

On seeing the start of a car chase here, my brain immediately started playing music from Mad Max: Fury Road, without me even thinking of it.

I have officially seen that movie too many times.

Evil Inc

Okay, who the hell ELSE would like to see the Alt-universe Greystone Inn as a regularly run comic?
Whoa, I sort of forgot that still ran. Haven't checked in years...not because I didn't like it, it just sort of fell off my radar. Huh.

The entire premise is that it's a place parents send kids they don't want anymore. Hence why it's Camp We Don't want'cha. It can only GET more depressing.
Not necessarily. I mean, I love Camp. The backstories (like now) can be pretty god damn depressing, but there are some genuinely moving/lovely moments in there as well.

its less frequent update schedule ain't helping.
That's probably what did it, yes. One hiatus or another. I now have, what, 3 or 4 comics on my daily rotation, and about a dozen or so I read approximately weekly. Then some others where I go when I get reminded over here (Goblins, for example). If a webcomic doesn't update enough to be ingrained in my daily/weekly list, and doesn't get referenced here, it slips away.

And then you just skip it for a while, expecting the story to not progress much but when you come back- BAM- fifty new comics you gotta slog through just to be current. And I hate saying "slog" when referring to reading something I LIKE but still that's what it feels like.

This has been bugging me for a week. This is very exciting, but would someone PLEASE check on Dina??
We are now at critical levels of not having checked on Dina. With Becky having said it's over, everyone's okay, she's probably just sealed Dina's fate of lying dead in the woods.

Also, Penny Arcade--did Kris Straub draw today's comic?

I remember someone mentioning Willis said in a Q&A that no one was dying in DoA. That doesn't mean he won't pull a Doctor if it suits him. ("Rule #1" The Doctor Willis lies.") It also doesn't mean that Dina can't be seriously injured. :(

I got to say, Table Titans is a pretty solid comic
For all the shit we give him, when Kurtz is enthusiastic about what he's doing, he does it well. Plus, it helps that he got a lot of help with this project, I think, instead of going it alone. I think a lot of the problem with PvP was that he did it for years upon years all on his own and got burned out.

I don't normally pick out people's or comic's grammatical errors, but Jerry is usually such a stickler about this stuff and yet there it is in the final line of today's Lookouts comic.

It's been almost four months since Homestuck updated, and since the announcement that the next part is the last part, I check each day with a strange combination of excitement and trepidation.

I'm not saying I HATE the new comics but Kevin and Kell has become...a bit blah. It just looks like animal joke, animal joke, college bull-crap we've seen in every college story, lather rinse repeat.

You forgot the yearly "SHOCKING REVELATION" of a previous relationship between two established characters that makes absolutely zero goddamn sense.

Lates Bad go Bobbins where I yell out- FINALLY- someone calls out Charlotte on the mean ass comments she makes! Don't get me wrong, that's part of why I love her character, but her learning some fucking tact will be a great arc for her.
