It really is the worst of the Maple Whiskies I've tried; but it also seems to be the one that kickstarted the trend. I'm sure Sortilege and Tap 357 existed before, but Crown Royal debuted this two years ago and now suddenly everyone seems to be drinking maple whiskies.
Canadian Club also has one now, but I haven't tried that.
