[Movies] Guardians of the Galaxy

I've decided that I'm going to try to avoid everything that I can about this movie going forward. I want to view it relatively clean from expectations and hype.

That being said, I'm reading the hell out of the comic now that I finished Annihilation and Conquest.

Very Star Wars-y, which I like. I like the other poster a little better, with the neat pulp-y sci fi book cover look to it, and the incredibly ballsy tagline "you're welcome". But I like that one way or another, they are not doing the incredibly boring floating head movie poster design of modern movies.

Aside from the new trailer on Monday, there is also going to be a live Q&A session apparently.

Stole this from reddit but the comment was "I like this scene of Starlord breaking Rocket out of prison."

Since it seems the video @CynicismKills posted is kaput, here's another of the same.

Yeah, it looks like twenty flavours of awesome. Not sure about Cooper's voice for Rocket, since previous voices had him with an Australian-like accent, but that's a minor nitpick at most. The trailer also distinctly lacked in the Ooga Chucka department, but it's still awesome.

Someone get a Hawkeye initiative version of that Drax poster stat.
I thought the Hawkeye Initiative was to highlight the ridiculous poses that female characters are put into, to illustrate how silly they would look for male characters (usually Hawkeye). Since Drax is male, how would that work?
