Kags' Cosplay Thread

Working on the pic's now! I'll have them up sometime this week. For now, here are some blooper pic's, which are always fun.

I was laughing meaning I ruined this picture. Story of my life on photo shoots.

And of course, I can't do anything in my house without Sir Squeakypants right there with me.

So, side note, a lot of these pictures are laying down because I wanted to master that particular look. I always look high as a kite whenever I do pictures laying down, so I wanted the practice. Just so you know. =^^=

AHA...

Sorry, I forgot to upload the pic's from the Fairy photo shoot...my bad.

Raye wanted me to come visit last weekend and do some fairy pic's with her and I could never say no! So, here you go! :D

And two blooper pic's for good measure!!

Yesh! :D

It's the photographers, he brought her with on the shoot, so we did a couple of pic's with her. Her name is Victoria. =^^=[DOUBLEPOST=1401681263,1401681232][/DOUBLEPOST]Haha, thanks Poe!

Missing my cosplay friends today. :(

So, I was going through old pictures, found some gems I thought I would share! Especially..behind the scenes stuff. I feel like I like to keep an air of...mmm, well, painting myself in a good light? But not today! :D

Found this old gem!! It's from my second convention I believe, maybe my third (probably in 08'.) And yes, my friends are looking up my skirt.

One of the first photoshoots I did just for fun.

Matching shirts with my friend Ashley (she designed the shirt! :D)

That time I met @linglingface !

Goofing around as Pascal. GOLEM!

Carla and Rachel. I love them so so much.

Rachel and I derping it up as Disney Princesses.

Weird car pictures are tradition in my family.

And the ever important, ruining friend pictures because WE CAN.

I <3 you!
Carla and I had an "OMG" moment at SDCC. She was stoked to see me as Tinkerballa and I was stoked to see her Cinderella (and I already adored her Rapunzel). We were passing each other in the hallway and stopped to point at each other with our mouths wide open like "HEY I KNOW YOU!" XD

BAHAA!

My friends guys, my friends! They get me and on a lazy Sunday we photoshot it up. I  them.

Behind the scenes before we threw a bunch of paint all over our selves.

More pictures later.

I was all over the place during this shoot, so I'm throwing in a lot of 'behind the scenes' and goofing off pictures because really, that was mostly what happened. :D

Right after putting the paint on.

Ahem...may or may not have photo bombed more than one of her pictures....this one was definitely the best one though. :D AHAHAAA!

I may post more later, but here you are for now.

Steampunk Snow White, EH???

I was playing around in my cosplay closet tonight and realized I've got this outfit, just sitting there:

I'm thinking I could turn it into a some type of Snow White outfit. Just need to add details.

Anyway...I'm just putting off working on Kratos. I'm making really good progress! But still...so much to do.

My greaves and vambraces are done.

I haven't checked this thread in a while. You're doing a Kratos crossplay? I can't wait to see that.
YES!! :D I'm doing his God Armor outfit.

I'm SO excited for it.

Oh my... that corset.

What are the greaves and vambraces made of? They look awesome.
They're made of worbla. It's pretty much every cosplayer's new favorite thing. It's a thermoplastic, so you heat it up and can mold it into just about any shape, and when it cools down it holds that shape.

And thank you! :D

So...it's like Cosplayer Silly Putty? Just press it on the surface you want to copy, hit it with a hair dryer, and presto!

Haha, sort of. I've never seen it used to necessarily copy something else? More like this:

And a hair dryer won't work. You have to use a heat gun, which get MUCH hotter than a hair dryer. (I burned myself within 10 minutes of using one and then promptly scorched our living room rug.)

As I've said before, I LOVE playing with my heat gun. Just holding it, and saying "This is my heat gun!" makes me feel so very supervillainous.
