Kags' Cosplay Thread

Leaving for FanX today!! WEEEEE!!

I'll have pic's (probably not photoshoot pic's - I don't know if I'll have time to do one while I'm down there) when I get back Sunday night! I'M SO EXCITED! Two of my friends who are coming with have never been to a con before, hopefully I'm a good tour guide and don't overwhelm them.

I love convention day.

Kind of in the same boat as Kags! I'm on the smaller end, but sometimes my size also isn't available. >.<

I didn't know shading existed... but so many things make sense now. This is just like the day I learned that bronzed existed.

You precious thing.

I know shading is big in the costuming community, but I don't see why you couldn't use it otherwise. :)

GO FORTH MY CHILDREN AND SHADE YOUR BOSOMS!

its fun when you realize most people are not built like Belle Chere, if you don't know who I am talking about, google her. Yes, there are actually women built like female superheroines.

on a side-note Crystal Graziano got a Asuka plug-suit from anatomic-latex, I am dying to see the end result.

Lol, I don't want to do it, but I've seen tiny-boobed people in person and in pictures have weird amounts of cleavage. If I wanted to, I'm so bad at makeup if have to hire someone. (Same with bronzer!)

I haven't done shading before, but I have done double bra + stuffing + pinning in back for more oomph! There's a lot of simple ways to fake cleavage.

I've been roped into helping my husband with his pepakura Halo armor, so I may as well post progress pic's here too. :p

We started with the helmet, which has the most pieces:

That's it all cut out and in a bag . My finger is still tired from doing all that cutting.

And Nate is a crazy person and managed to get it all glued together the next day.

After all the pieces are cut out, glued, he's going to cover the armor in resin to harden it up, then paint it, add some LED's, a visor and WHOOP! HALO ARMOR! :D

EXACTLY!!

He was frustrated because it's finals week/senior project week, but he wanted to work on the armor so badly. So, I was all 'I'll just cut out one page, so you feel like it's being worked on.' AND THEN 16 PAGES LATER!!! Ugh. So much paper.

I do feel awesome that I can be helpful, especially since most everything he does goes over my head. =^^=

Selfie from Free Comic Book Day, which is all I have. I meant to take more pictures, but got distracted and didn't get around to it.

I know it's not that exciting, but there you go. :D

Sunday, sunday, sunday!! I will attempt the impossible....

The re-creation of this image ACCURATELY.

Doing an MJ shoot on Sunday, I hope you guys are as excited as I am.
