Okay buddy, this is a two-way street: Your work day is boring, and so is mine. I shall entertain you, if you entertain me. :)

Urban or rural? And why you prefer that one.

I'm a total city kid. I like being able to walk to stores, cafes, have a selection of restaurants, etc. I love the life of busy streets, especially at night, and how different parts of a city have different feelings associated with them.

Ohhh man. Chicky. My sister was six years older than I was, and at my first Easter (I would've been less than a year old), she gave me this stuffed bird with a bell inside of it. It was big and fluffy and bright yellow. But other than photos, I have no memory of it as big and fluffy and yellow, for I basically never let go of it. It went wherever I did and quickly became threadbare and dull coloured. I will tell you, with that bell, I never snuck up on anyone. My aunt hated that bell and tried to get me to leave it alone whenever she babysat me haha...

Chicky, my creative name for her (or him? I don't know.) still resides in the closet of my old bedroom in my parents' house. I can't justify keeping it to my rational self, but everytime I happen to see it, there is a wave of nostalgia that prevents me from throwing it out.

Where are you from and when are we having our scotch night?
I'm from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, which is beautiful in the summer and a miserably frigid wasteland in the winter.

I will have scotch any time. You're in Chicago right? I want to visit there. Ooh or we can have a Skype scotch night.

Is there any food that you absolutely refuse to eat that people generally don't have a problem with?
It's really rare that I'll refuse to eat something. I'll try just about anything, but, I hate shrimp. I have tried all sorts of varieties cooked all sorts of ways but I just can't enjoy it. Basically everyone else I know loves it.

I also don't enjoy cilantro, as I find it tastes soapy. I'm told there's a genetic link and that some people don't have a certain enzyme that enables you to process it differently.
