[Announcement] EPIC WIN: General Specific and Dill616 are getting married!

Today, I got my hair cut, went to Hu Hot with my lovey and then came home. As I was walking in the door, I noticed there were things on my kitchen table that I hadn't left there. I turn around the corner, see my mother sitting in my living room. On the couch, [user]General Specific[/user] 's mother was holding my godson. I turn to see Matt aka the General pulling a small box out of the drawer. With tears in his eyes, he asks if I will marry him. I say yes, try desperately to slip off my promise ring and put on this fierce bad boy! We then hug and kiss as he plays Peter Gabriel's "The Book of Love." Apparently, he got the ring two weeks ago but finally had the opportunity to get me out of the house long enough to invite everyone over. I couldn't have asked for a better husband-to-be.







It is glorious. I'm spending the rest of my life with my best friend and partner. Damn, does it get any better? :D

Man, there seems to be a lot of wedding action around the boards these days. Are we all growing up or something?

Now that it is official, we can finally announce it. Our little family is growing! No, not like THAT! We're adopting a formerly abused rabbit that was saved by a local animal rescue. It's taken over 2 weeks of inspections, interviews, and processing, but as of tomorrow, he will be ours! (We did it [user]North_Ranger[/user] !!)

He's an underdeveloped 2-year-old Dutch Dwarf bunny who was kept in a filthy wire bottom cage. When he was first taken away from his former owner, he had severe damage to his feet. Right now, he only has one toe on one back foot and two toes on the other. He also had crooked front toes that were broken by the wire bottom cage. Regardless, he can get around just fine.

We actually met with him last Sunday, the day after GS proposed!! I was so distracted by the thought of seeing my baby that I had no idea what he was planning. Once we held him, we knew Panda was meant to be ours. He is terrified of outside people, but he took to both of us so well! GS is in love with the little guy and we both can't wait to have him settle into a permanent home with his new mommy and daddy.

Please welcome Panda Bear to our family!

He may have bitten the crap out of me on more than one occasion, but he is usually a sweet little guy. He's still getting used to us and is in teenager mode! We love our three toed baby!

dead god my mind is so warped. I read that and thought you were talking about awesome and geeky HAND CUFFS! and I was all like brown chicken brown cow! Then I realized what it said when Bubble replied and my heart was broken.
