I was looking into actually getting Heart of the Swarm but had forgotten where I saved the info from my authenticator when I switched phones a few months back. It's been 2 days since I went through the whole removing an authenticator from an account thing with Blizzard and not a peep from them.
That's irritating.

Call their customer support line. They just need any product key from any of your blizzard games, and they'll take the authenticator off.
I've had to do that a few times, took about ten minutes.

Played (and bought) Ace of Spades this weekend. It can be fun sometimes, but frustrating other times. Especially when it seems like your own team is doing more damage to your base constructions than the other team. This is particularly egregious in "classic ctf" which goes for a WW1 feel.. easily more than half the games I played there, our base was completely undermined and destroyed by our own team. But when things are going right, the gameplay is very fun. I just wish they did private servers - it's irritating to have to play only on official servers that change maps every round.
I have no idea what the product key from my Blizzard games are. I no longer have hard copies of any of them.
You don't even have a box? Am I the only one that keeps game boxes anymore? (in before I'm the only one that buys physical copies)
Call them anyway, I'm sure they have alternatives.
I finished a second runthrough of Darksiders, this time with the Abyssal Armor from the beginning. Still awesome.
Now I'm torn about what to play next.

Enjoyed Torchlight 2, so I'll probably be fine, right?
I wish I'd given TQ a better chance, but when I got it I was just not into ARPGs. Lost the key since then.
I don't get to play much anymore since I got married. Every time I sit down thinking I can play for a bit I get the "you don't spend enough time with me" speech.
But on the rare occasions I do I have been switching between Scribblenauts Unlimited and Black Ops II.
I've enjoyed the overall scope of Scribblenauts and just how epic it feels, but I am a little disappointed with it's difficulty level. I remember the other games being a little more difficult from time to time. This one the only difficulty has been trying to think of solutions other than the obvious.
My wife and I have discovered that adding the adjective "fertile" to anyone is quite hilarious.
Black Ops II I haven't had much experience with it beyond the multiplayer. I don't have an Xbox account so it's all just local games with my wife and a few of my friends. The multiplayer isn't too bad. I quite enjoy the zombie levels.
The main campaign has proven to be a lot of fun as well. I'm only a few chapters in, but I'm quite impressed with the number of times I've felt like I'm actually in a war-zone.
If I have the money and the time I think I really need to give Dishonored a try. It really sounds like my type of game.

Starfox 64: 3d - It's Starfox 64, still great. Unlike most games so far I actually love playing this thing with the 3d turned all the way up.
Kid Icarus: Uprising - This game would be awesome if the 3ds had come with a second circle pad. As it is the game is great despite the controls. I've only played the first level so far, but I'm definitely going to play more. This game has fun and charm out the wazoo.

I looooooove this game. So, so much. It's fantastic. I don't even care about the control issues now; it's just so much fun, both in single and multiplayer.
I've heard Icarus is a million times easier with the stand that comes with new copies. My brother had the same control issues you mentioned.
I don't think I could play it well that way due to how I hold controllers with a left shoulder trigger. It's hard to get a good version of it going because you need something to hold up the right side of the 3DS, while still gripping it yourself on the left.
But once you get used to it, you hardly notice.

I've been playing the Etrian Odyssey IV demo, as has my wife. Contemplating getting it. If you told me I'd enjoy a grind heavy first person dungeon crawler with barely any story, I'd have said you had donkey carcasses for brains.

DSi vs DS Lite.Which to get.Dont say 3DS because I loathe 3D and get instant headaches from it.
DSi is newer and comes with a camera, but doesn't have a slot for GBA cartridges.
DS Lite is older (which means its hardware is slightly inferior, and has a marginally smaller screen) but has a GBA slot so you can transfer your GBA Pokemon into your DS Pokemon games.

If you are concerned about getting the newer games, you can turn the 3d off completely.
I never play with the 3D on, it's the worst feature of an otherwise good system and can be completely abandoned if you don't touch the slider, but you should just get a 3DS so you can get the newer games. The ONLY reason to get a DS Lite, as bhamv said, is if you want to play GBA games on it. No reason to get a DSi. And as I said earlier in the thread (I think), 3DS XL is on sale at Target this Sunday.
I wish there was a way to trade GBA ones long distance. We still have DS Lites and it'd be an easy upload to Pearl or Soul Silver. Those ones are capable of global trading between friend cartridges.
I just got Civ 5 a couple weeks ago. Between that, the new Sims 3 EP, and the Assassin's Creed series I picked up for the Steam winter sale, I'm keeping pretty busy when I'm at home doing nothing.
And to think that a month ago I was telling some of my friends that I think I might be getting out of gaming.
