I'm a minute and a half in and two things have crossed my mind:

1) Half of the people in the title sequence look like people that I want to punch
&
2) I could see some people being very disappointed after stumbling upon this show after googling similar names.

Very nice.

There are a few people whose work I recognize at the very least. I'm excited to see how this goes.

Oh, youuu.

I'll just have to keep my comic going until they have the next one.[DOUBLEPOST=1362189796][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, Abby Howard has my favorite comic of the people on the show. I hope she does well.

I wish it was longer. It's like only watching the Survivor challenges. I'd like to see some of the everyday hanging out and socializing as well. :)[DOUBLEPOST=1363906245][/DOUBLEPOST]Bumble I just noticed I somehow stopped following you on Tumblr.

IT HAS BEEN RECTIFIED.

Oh Gosh. The tastemaker is going to be on next episode. What do you think he is going to be like for the show?

Also I thought it was interesting the way everyone first started for their descriptions. They all went with framing and getting the canvas marked into its sections first. The few times I have played, I always set up the scene a little first. Guy sitting down looking worried or something like that so that as we're going they can fill the parts I leave out in with what they know is happening in the picture instead of wondering the whole time what they are drawing. They did really well I think, so I'm wondering if that's the best way to go about that game.

All far too technical, I thought. I mean, it helps to know what style you're going for. Would it have been cheating to say "This is one of those shoulderless sloped people from The Trenches"?[DOUBLEPOST=1364319634][/DOUBLEPOST]Also yaaaaay Kurtz is gonna tell a group of impressionable young cartoonists how to market themselves?

This will end well.

I think the right two people got put up for elimination.

I understand Tavis's point, but it really wasn't even participating in the challenge.
Lexxy blew it completely after the challenge was over.

I definitely would have given it to Tavis much sooner than they did. I found his comic really funny and not so much Lexxy's. The art was decent on both but I think I liked Tavis' style better. Lexxy is clearly used to spending much more time on hers.

I think Mike was really surprised that Lexxy was able to finish that comic in 90 minutes, and do all those poses so well with no reference. That was really impressive.

If you look at the comments on the episode, Lexxy mentions that she wasn't exactly sure what an areola was until they explained it later.

Been following this a little, and man that little tirade about Abby's cut-out was pretty rude and mean-spirited. Granted she's nowhere near as good as the other two that were up there at the time, but dude, seriously.

Yeah for sure. He's mentioned it in every single episode he's been in.

I do appreciate it that they didn't edit anything to make Mike and/or Jerry look better. Keeping the reality in the reality show.

My designer buddy was telling me about how fucking shitty the first challenge was and how not like any real design situation would be for anyone actually designing something. He was pretty mad.

Which? The you-have-an-hour-to-design-a-tshirt-for-us challenge?

I wasn't a fan of Amy's shirt to begin with (although it's totally personal taste, I can see the appeal to it for others) but I think the shirt looks stupid the way it got cropped at the arms, instead of wrapping around as she intended.

I understand the process with which they get their shirts done, probably wouldn't allow the wrap-around to happen, it still looks like the crop ruined it.

I can't really imagine who, in the general public, would buy a Strip Search-labelled shirt. But at least Amy gets the profits of whatever DOES sell, I guess.

I enjoyed today's episode. I thought all 3 teams' creations turned out well overall, and I thought the right team won.

Yeah, I'd have really only bought one if it was someone I wanted to support.. but I don't know how often I'd go about wearing it around town, unless the design was beautifulll[DOUBLEPOST=1365179830][/DOUBLEPOST]Unless it was me that won, then you all would have been buying my shirt like it was waffles.
