According to his Twitter from yesterday he woke up at 4 in the afternoon (after staying up until probably well past midnight) with food poisoning. But he's fine now, so maybe we'll see a comic today.

Does anyone wonder if this story will end in Skull getting unfixed? Cos that would be kinda funny.
If only there were some way for cartoonists who do a daily comic as their primary job, to do more than one at a time, and having them stored to buffer against sudden illness or unexpected events.
Here's how I see this story arc going:
They get Skull treated, and he stops being a "spaz"... but without that, Skull loses his "innocent charm" and starts being judgemental of the bad habits of the main cast. Everyone agrees they prefer the old Skull, and pull shenanigans to get him back. Skull lectures them on only wanting him around when they can feel superior to him, and says that if they're not willing to accept the new him, they weren't really ever his true friends. Then as he leaves, the rest of the PVP team reflecting on what he said, Scratch drops a safe or piano on him, and the brain injury returns us to happy spaz Skull.
Or at least they might show a little enthusiasm and at throw in a cheap filler. Yelling Bird is annoying but at least I know the artist is still alive. GWS and GgaR also try to be professional (well, they are!) and fill the site with something when they can't get it done properly.
On the other hand, this might bring us more copy-pasted silhouetted Lolbat whenever Scott can not

No, that would require too much plot and follow through from Scott.
My guess, if he does change, it's not shenanigans that makes him revert. It'll be the first fart.
Not having a buffer or something is kinda lame, but I can't fault him for being useless while hit with food poisoning. If it's bad enough that shit will lay you out worse than a flu.
He was a condescending ass when I met him in 2005.
Frank Cho was super nice though. Maybe that's because I have big boobs.

I was working a comic-con in Dallas around 2000 or so and we had Frank at the show. He's an absolute hoot. Got to have dinner with him, first time I had met him in person, and the first words I heard him speak were, "My dog likes to eat poop." What followed was the story that ended up in Liberty Meadows with Oscar eating every pile of poop that he could find.
Met Kurtz the same weekend, he was a bit of a grump. He would turn a personality on for the "paying customers" but when talking to anyone associated with the show he just just complaining that he wasn't getting as much traffic as the established artists. Then again, I probably pissed him off because I asked to buy a sheet of bristol from him to allow Jim Toomey of Sherman's Lagoon to do a sketch for me, it's hanging near the front door.
I've only talked with Cho online, but he seems like a heck of a guy. We exchanged a couple messages on the old image forums - turns out we like some of the same voluptuous models. And I know recently I saw cosplayer "AZ Powergirl" had a great pic of her in costume getting her boob signed by him, up on facebook. (Wait, was it her or BelleChere... crap, need to check...)
On the other hand, The Mighty Mangler (Will Rodriguez) has met Kurtz on numerous occasions at Austin area conventions, and says he's cool, so... I guess it's how you know him.

I've met Scott Kurtz only the once at Comic-con, and he seemed VERY disinterested in everything going on. The complete opposite of Brad Guigar, I've met him twice he is nice.

I met John Kovalic at Ropecon a few years ago. He seemed like a nice guy; plus, he gave me this huge sketch he made of a Munchkin character when I asked for it. It was something he had drawn for a comics and games presentation.

I live in the SAME #### STATE as Kovalic, and (regretfully) have yet to meet him.
Of course, he's even more irregular about updating his webcomic, Dork Tower, than even Il Tastemakerino, but then again DT is not his main source of income.

"Which doctor do you want" doesn't work as "Witch doctor do you want." It sounds like Yoda-ese. I get what the punchline is but you can't cram something as masterful as Abbott & Costello into 3 frames and hope it's a worthy homage, because it comes off as a cheap reference joke.
Jenny did want a Red Sonja outfit, but I don't know how to make shoulder or neck pieces, so we went modified. Same principle, but yeah it's different. Chain bracers instead of gloves, chain belt instead of ring-and-strap, etc.
When Jenny sends pictures of the latest chainmail piece I made for her, I'll share what I can. Also, adding a picture of the chainmaille microbikini I made her to that thread.
Lately that is all PVP seems to be anymore.
Eh, I wouldn't go that far. It's a joke setup that was common in vaudeville, lots of comedians given that material would come up with something similar.
The comic just lists who the copyright holders are. They list the artist in the 'about the authors' section
