What is funny for me is that a couple of my friends in highschool had written a little skit about a group of people who played tag for life and one of the main characters was driven mad because he had been "it" for so long lol
Too see that there is a long lasting real life game happening is amazing lol

A list like that is intended solely to be filler. Just like the swimsuit issue of SI was when it first appeared in the 1960's (or whenever - I can't recall exactly).

Would have been fantastic to see a researched list with a bit more substance on a subject that cool.

Children have incredible memories when it comes to something they enjoy. My kids were playing library with some of my textbooks this afternoon. My daughter brought me a math book I had last spring and asked if I would find her the picture of Tiana. The author wrote the book with pertinent movie trivia sprinkled throughout so while I didn't remember exactly if there was a picture of Tiana I knew it was possible. I found it using the photo credit index. I can't believe she remembered it was in this particular book.

Today I learned 1 Exabyte = 1,000,000,000 Gigabytes.

I look forward to the day I collect 1 exabyte of porn.

Make sure you format that storage with either ZFS (max 16EB volume size) or GPT (max 8ZB volume size).
Or, you know, whatever comes next.

Also, by then, you'll need to be at least 65yrs of age to buy ultra-porn.

When I heard about that, I heard it only worked on Otis elevators. I've tested it on a few elevators, Otis and otherwise, and results have been mixed.

Today I learned goals are for suckers. And that the guy with the power over your job can make ANYTHING your fault. Even the comings and goings of the seasons.

You just had to head off to somewhere on the exact opposite side of the Earth, didn't you. :p

What's weird is I don't know if I was leaving home, or coming home. Considering in 4 years I have spent roughly 3 weeks of that in the US, I have to start to wonder.

Today I learned the audio from the Skyrim trailer syncs up perfectly (and awesomely) with the video of the first Mass Effect 3 trailer.

Today I learned that there actually was a scene deleted from Independence Day wherein they explained why Earth computers could talk to alien computers. Apparently all modern computer tech was derived from the Roswell ship.

While that's nuts, as"modern" pcs were around slightly before Roswell (thanks Turing!), it's plausible enough for a scifimovie, and would've countered quite a bit of the Stupid, as far as I'm concerned. I did not know that.

Maybe the basis or underpinnings are the same, but it wasn't until Roswell that they figured out how to do it efficiently and on such a level.

That many video game cases don't have paper manuals nowadays. I know I all-ready posted this in the Random Crap thread, but this is STILL weird to me.

Edit: Yeah I saw the not.
