Seriously, the place is a tourist trap disguised as a beach.
Sort of like the Jersey Shore?
Or like Galveston Island, or Port Aransas.
I mean we pretty much went there just to have Christmas, if we did this at home it wouldn't feel any different. Its like my parents payed hotel price just to laze about for 4 days, when we could have done that at home for free!
I'm sure you could have stayed home and it would definitely have been cheaper. But as you get older, you'll come to appreciate the pure bliss of sometimes being lazy somewhere other than home.
I'm home from Disneyland!!

It was quite fantastic! I spent a lot of my day at the Animation building in California Adventure, watching the sketch artists draw. And I got to wear a button that said it was my birthday, so all of the staff wished me 'Happy Birthday' all day, which was fun. My in-laws took me out for BBQ for dinner (my favorite food).

Hey, I saw them! There was a bunch of them running around the parks. My brother-in-law and I were talking about them since he's in marching band, and I was in marching band when I was in high school.My old HS band was there over the weekend, too. They're marching in the Rose Parade tomorrow.
But... but... there's all that loving, learning, sharing, judging. It's a time to laugh, shiver, and cry.

I don't know where you went to high school but it was obviously part of an after-school special.

A recent post on Tumblr reminded me of one of the stranger events in my life, it happened back when I was a teenager. I was at church for the Ash Wednesday service, and I was sitting with some of my friends up in the balcony. One of my friends, Brian, started talking about how he thought I liked a girl named Meagan. He wasn't content to just suggest that I liked her, he went on to suggest the sexual things he thought I should do to her, and that's when I punched him. Laid him out with one punch, then helped him back to his feet as he apologized. I still wonder if the pastor saw it or not.
You surprise me sometimes. Pleasantly, I assure you. I always come close, but I never quite have you pegged. That's a great story.

That is an awesome story FigmentPez! I've hardly ever gone to church myself. Mostly because I figure if I sat there for too long either I or the church would burn in unearthly flames. And that would just RUIN my weekend.

I really love that I can rate posts stuff like hugs, informative and brofist here on the forums. I feel so limited by like or favorite. Seriously, that moment when you want to like an unhappy post to show support, but you don't want it to come across as schadenfreude...

Does anyone else think "anti-life equation" is a weird name? I understand the Martian origin of the name, but when I first heard the name I thought it caused the opposite of life being DEATH! Its more an anti-will equation than anti-life.
I got punched in the face last night. This girl was really drunk and decided to punch me for literally no reason. I wasn't even talking to her. Worst part is, she has a fairly hard punch and I was feeling it a bit even this morning.
She apologized a ton today but I basically told her I'd only accept her apology if shed start drinking less. This isn't her first incident (or even her only incident last night).

They're both good at making harsh realities seem funny. Louis might be a bit darker about it, but it could be interesting.
Louis C.K's biting dark humor combined with the showmanship of Brooks would bring a film upon which I would see at least fifty times!
