As Bowielee correctly noted, my last thread only focused on dramas. I didn't think much about it, because that's what I watch the most. But I know there are quite a few popular comedies out there right now. Which ones are the best?

Same rules as before. You can only choose shows that are still making new episodes.

I would have gone for The League but Parks and Rec has a bit wider audience base since The League may be the filthiest show on television.

Louie definitely. While I love Parks and Rec and 30 Rock, Louie's incredibly bleak humor is freaking great! Plus the Dane Cook episode was freaking awesome.

I had to pick 3 because they're so good. I know a lot of folks here hate Big Bang Theory, but it's the only comedy on TV that makes me consistantly laugh out loud. Archer is simply brilliant, and black comedy doesn't get much blacker than Louie.

Feels weird having Louie listed as a comedy. I still voted for it, and feel bad leaving it out of that other thread.

I also really don't get the weird Castle worship. It's a cute show and all but I would never call it the best anything.

Castle is a guilty pleasure, the way I see it.

Louie is not a drama... at all. It's a black comedy. If you're watching it as a drama, you're doing it wrong.
