[NHL] 2018-2019 Season: The Rise of Gritty

Well I was thinking about the homophobic slur fiasco of last night.

That and how badly TB whipped them on every aspect of the game. Christ do the Lightning lose a game in the playoffs this year?

RIP streak of all Buffalo teams not having the longest playoff drought in their league. December 31, 2017 - April 4, 2019.

I still say go back to the old way - division winners automatic bids, four best of the rest - or, if they want to get more "hip", have teams 7-10 do a best of three play-in.

Wrong person to taunt, pug lover.

Kinda knew it was going to happen. When you can't score a power play goal to save your life, you're gonna be in trouble.

Wasn't a taunt, just a direct response to the "I'm usually Fuck Dallas anyway" as just a friendly jab. I only root for the Stars from Dallas, none of the other major sports. That's also why the smiley is there to show it isn't anything serious.

Really an amazing stat for a team to come though a 6-game series with 100% PPK. Stars should be a good match with St Louis for a good series. Not real sure who will win it though, STL has been hot, but Dallas seems to be getting everything rolling right too.

I have not been keeping up on my EPGES, but I'd have to think we haven't been able to buy a PPG since February.

Pfft. No. Dummy had the Bolts going all the way.

BTW: 12.94% on the PP, worst in the NHL. Only the Habs scored fewer PPG on the season. This team should have just declined the penalty every time, or immediately had Grimaldi or someone swing at the guy they lined up with before the faceoff to eliminate the power play.
