    [Webcomic] PVP Discussion

So, more than two months since Scott's last update, and his Patreon (which he was heavily pushing on the relaunch) seems to have barely moved at all. Is he... doing anything?

    [Webcomic] Webcomic Appreciation Jamboree

Glad to spread the word! It's a bit slow but I like what it's going for, and I've always been a fan of Ellerton.

    [Webcomic] PVP Discussion

True, I didn't mean to mention Local58 as a means of saying that Straub is in a bad way. I think he's been doing decently ever since Candle Cove was adapted into a season of the a SyFy series Channel 0. I just meant to show that Kurtz's patreon is not going to get him much money. (Also, it was...

    [Webcomic] PVP Discussion

I wonder how much Kurtz makes off of his Table Titans books. The fact that he's been able to stay away from PvP for so long and not, you know, completely go broke means he's got to be making some money off of all of this. Plus he's got only 420 Patreon subscribers. For reference, Kris Straub's...

[Webcomic] Help Me Find an Old Webcomic?

It might have been a shortlived comic. I remember seeing one other storyline and then it fell off my radar.

    [Webcomic] Webcomic Appreciation Jamboree

So, Sarah Ellerton, the creator of the old webcomics Inverloch and Phoenix Requiem, has an ongoing comic that nobody seems to be talking about anywhere: Immaterial. It's about people who are "pulled into a surreal escher-esque reality where things that are lost and forgotten find a home." I'm...

[Webcomic] Help Me Find an Old Webcomic?

Hi everybody! It's been a long time since I've last visited here, and I'm pretty sure I was never very memorable. I've been spending a long time trying to hunt down a webcomic that I know existed. I'm pretty sure it was shared on the old HalfPixel site. I browsed through YAOMTC's old webcomic...

[Webcomic] Starslip: The Long Hello (2015-2016): has anyone read this?

Straub did confirm that he and Kurtz had a falling out a while back, interestingly enough.

[Webcomic] Starslip: The Long Hello (2015-2016): has anyone read this?

So, having popped back in here after so many years, I started thinking about Starslip. I vaguely remembered that Straub had written a new story for the comic. It's not on the official Starslip site, but I did find it on Patreon. The posts are visible publicly, but the resolution is so low...

Holy crap, it was Rittz who saved the new Sonic movie

That's... unfortunate. Was it his religious views, or did something else happen? Well, that's a... relief?

Holy crap, it was Rittz who saved the new Sonic movie

Oh wow, I had no idea that happened... That's really depressing, actually. North_Ranger was a stand-up guy. Nah, unless I changed it and don't remember, my avatar was a bad drawing of a black-and-white guy in the rain, which I had doodled in High School. This one, in fact: Though you've...

Holy crap, it was Rittz who saved the new Sonic movie

I've been doing pretty well! Got a wife, kids, a house, staying steady in my job, and I've gotten a few freelance writing gigs that gives a small amount of money on the side. One of my articles even went viral, which was nice. How have things been around here? I see there's still a lot of...

Holy crap, it was Rittz who saved the new Sonic movie

I'm like, 90% sure Shego's the reason the original forum got the axe all those years ago. Didn't Straub mention something about the FBI getting involved? Not gonna lie, I had to look it up before I posted this.

Holy crap, it was Rittz who saved the new Sonic movie

Yeah, I kind of fell away from this place, which is probably why I remember the olden days so much better. The days of ZenMonkey, JCM, Espy and Chazwozel.

Holy crap, it was Rittz who saved the new Sonic movie

Hmm... this was all the way back in the Halfpixel days, I think, before Kurtz & Co. nuked the whole place. Rittz was the name of the the guy in the animation (who's also a boxer hockey character), and a drawing of the character was Rittz's avatar.

Holy crap, it was Rittz who saved the new Sonic movie

I was part of that thread! In fact... I might have been the "some dude" you are talking about. It ended up evolving into a "yes, we all admit you're better at drawing people than Phil Foglio" thread, which Rittz was kind of taken aback by, IIRC.

Did you ever read Boxer Hockey? Or see this short animation? He's the guy who did those.

Holy crap, it was Rittz who saved the new Sonic movie

Hey all, haven't been around here for forever but this was just too cool to not pass on. So, I don't know who all has been paying attention to the news surrounding the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog movie, but here's the gist: in the original trailer, Sonic looked like a horrifying monstrosity...
